The problem with Eidolon is its color and casting cost. At 4cc you need to be stabilized and Eidolon does nothing to help you achieve this. I really don't think we need a dedicated card engine in this deck, especially if its on the back of flimsy over priced critters like Mesa Ench and Eidolon. Idyllic Tutor should be run as a 4x and that should be enough to get the right cards in our hands at the right times.
I believe the archetype (flavor?) of Enchantress decks is to have an enchantment-relevant draw engine. Legacy Enchantress works this way. If Modern Enchantress didn't have this dedicated draw engine, it probably would not be called an Enchantress deck anymore.
Ok but who cares if we call it Enchantress.dek or Enchantments.dek?

I think the route we need to be looking at is a creature free type of list. Enchantress engine is probably never going to work. Best to focus on protecting ourselves behind artifacts and enchantments, then protecting those enchantments.
Would this be the right thread to discuss an all white enchantment deck that DOESN'T use Mesa Enchantress? I run a creatureless version because I think Enchantress herself is just too flimsy to be relied upon at 3cc. My thought is that she is going to catch any creature removal because shes the only target for such and thus a waste of an opportunity to make a bunch of your opponent's cards dead.
Greater Auramancy protects Myth Realized, but it does nothing for enchantress.
