Neither does goyf. You can still slot it in there and do damage? It could easily become a 10/10 with a rancor and then you're having a whale of a time. In fact I could well imagine some sort of control deck using it as a win con. Perhaps that's where it belongs, or in some other deck. But I can't ignore the fact that it has wonderful synergy with rancor and auramancy, it helps the drawing engine and at the very worst it keeps your opponent from tapping all their mana to do nasty things because they are preparing to kill it. Still not persuaded?
^the above was in response to Blitzkrieg. Quoting didn't work or I didn't use it properly.
I did quote the Goyf part on another thread (a Prison Version) Seeing the relation makes me go "OH BUY THEM NOW!" lol but I don't think they will ever be 200+ for them so lol.

Kekule_the_Magician on the inclusion of Devouring Light in a TurboFog Deck:

As a person who typically plays very creature oriented decks, I HATE when an opponent has Devouring Light. It is infuriating to finally get through with a creature on to have it exiled.
I've come to hate White in general now because it gets everything to the point where it is almost unfair. White has boardwipes (Wrath of God, End Hostilities), targeted exile and removal (Devouring Light, Banishing Light, Last Breath), lifegain spells, lifelink, low cost/high power enchantments and auras, flying creatures; my goodness what don't they get!?
Will someone please tell me why Myth Realized isn't one of the most powerful cards in this forthcoming set, not even considering its outrageous utility for an enchantress deck? I can see it somehow seeing the light of day in legacy enchantress...I myself have pre-ordered a playset! I will take the risk in them going down in value because I see them going up!
it has no Evasion such as Hexproof or anything like that. (Enchantress if it has like Privileged position)

So yes, Devouring Light is a pretty good choice.
