Oh, how I have returned. Our worst match ups are Control and Combo.
Control is bad because they put our creatures in a bind with kill spells (bolts, paths, electrolyze etc). They also play the tempo game which is hard for us to get around because we can't build a solid board state. According to MTGTop8; UWx Midrange, UW Control, and Mardu Midrange are very painful decks to fight.
Combo is bad because if we can't kill the opponent by turn 3-4, they have a higher chance of going off with whatever combo is around. According to MTGTop8; Dredge, Scapeshift, Creatures toolbox and UW storm have the potential to just go off at usually by that point, preventing us from winning.
Boarding is pretty redudant when it comes to a deck like goblins considering we don't have any draw. Having 2s and 1s of doesn't really make a whole lot of sense because we want to see the cards in hand more often in order to help us win. 3-4s make a lot more sense because as I stated, seeing the card in your opening hand is a key to winning. That being said, I do not think that Kari Zev's Expertise should only be a 2-3, because it costs a lot of mana, where if we are casting a 3CMC spell it better win us the game or pretty close to it (we really just curve out at 3CMC for our deck).
I have yet to suit up my old 8whack list so unfortunately I can't give you the latest SB options. The sideboard is always based around your current meta.
Combo
Dredge is always countered by grave hate, anything along the lines of Tormod's Crypt or Relic of Progenitus works for the most part. Make sure you get them opening hand.
Scapeshift is tough, its sometimes an auto loss depending on the deck. My only reccomendation is rushing them quickly game 1, and be more conservative games 2-3 because of the creature removal being boarded in. I suppose Kari Zev's Expertise could be useful to take Primeval Titan but really theres not a lot you can do sideboard wise for this matchup.
UW Storm has become so strong since Baral, Chief of Compliance. Graveyard hate is key against this deck. A Crypt or Relic at the right time could be deveasting at times. But them going off on turn 3 is also a paddling.
Creatures Toolbox is easy game 1 because they don't have the tools(Didn't even mean for that to happen:)) to stop us. Games 2 and 3 are much different. Burrenton Forge-Tender and Kitchen Finks combos are not fun to deal with. Gravehate and Anti life gain options are great against the deck but its still not easy. Unless they stall out for some reason, they can control your board and gain constant life.
Control
UW Control, UWx Midrange, Mardu Midrange are pretty much the same much up, kill your creatures, stall out the game, and watch yourself die slowly. Blood Moon and Anti life gain is my recommendation, but its tough no matter what the match is.
That's all I really have, I apologize for being a bit vague at times, I'm not 100% up to speed on the current meta, but I hope this helped you out a bit
Glad to see everyone's testing is going well. I have created a "clan" on MTGO for all goblin players to come and discuss anything and everything. If anyone would like to join and help better the goblin community on MTGO please feel free to PM me. The clan won't be up till tomorrow or Thursday depending on when Wizards actually creates it.
Also has anyone noticed any new decks sprung up in the last few days with SotM and Thopter Foundry? I have yet to see a single deck online using it so i'm curious.

You can also put in Ranger of Eos (If you want a 4 drop), as well as Thalia. I've experimented with white, it's not bad for sideboard, but mainboard green and black are just better.

Hey guys, primers updated, I will be doing some updates all day as well as adding matchups and videos towards the end of the night.
Updates (03/16/16):
*The shell has been redone, adding goblin piledriver and removing chieftain.
*Added color splashing mana bases
*Added more sideboard/mainboard options
*Removed Red color effects
*Added types of goblin decks (No-Lord's, 8whack, and Gobots)
*Added additional Synergy information
*Added better updated sample lists
*Added/Removed more goblins
Ya unfortunately I had just moved into my house and got busy with work. I'll just do it tomorrow and get it over with. To be perfectly honest goblins, as a whole, has changed at least 4 times when it comes to deck lists over the past 4/5 months. So it's hard to judge what lists to run and what is the best list at the time. Considering that all the splashes have fallen out yet mono red still has major flaws. Please PM any and all ideas. Since I am now officially settled I can just get it over with since I've been terrible for updating wise. What is the best solution? I have a few ideas. I can just post a basic shell for any goblin list and people can go from there. It's all up to you guys, since all of us have contributed in some way shape or form.

We could start running Painter's Servant in the sideboard. This card is a house against Eldrazi considering they don't run mb creature kill...most of the time. I have seen a few boards running Dismember but that's about it.
It's a 2 drop, it shuts off the search Ancient Stirrings, shuts off Eldrazi Temple and Eye of Ugin. On the bright side it slows us down turn 2, but keeps us ready for turn 3 and 4 considering they can't play anything else after that.
If we are still running Gruul/Naya/Jund lists, Destructive Revelry is still our best bet for Chalice, considering it's a two drop does extra damage.

Most of the time you will be losing 2 life to cast those spells, odds are you aren't always casting them on a creature that wins you the game. Its tough to include those, i rather just run dismember then gut shots to be honest. Sideboards will have to change accordingly, to be honest, i think zoo will phase out a little bit, since more people will be drawn to the eldrazi deck, and it's just as hard for zoo as it is more us to keep up with it.

So rather than suggest we put goblins on hold we should look towards what the answers are to the current Eldrazi decks. It's clearly that a chalice for 1 owns our deck. So that's the first issue because that is mainboard. So do we start main boarding Tin-Street Hooligan? Is it really worth it just for one deck? If yes then 2 hooligans mainboard could help us gain a board state even if eldrazi decks are running 4 CotV mainboard. But again our entire game plan is speed. So do we start working around that chalice of the void? Maybe lowering the one drop count in our deck? Do we add Cavern of Souls mainboard again in order to battle it effectively? Do we sacrifice speed for more of a midrange jund version that utilizes early game disruption to gain control of the board before speeding away with goblins?
Idk all the answers, but i'm sure we all can figure this out together...hell everyone helped towards the speed goblin build did we not? Let's start brainstorming. Oh and all of us who have MTGO should start playing together online to practise against the new Eldrazi decks and other top tier decks in order to help us benefit. The only way we can solve this situation is if we help each other.

I think we definitely need blood moon in the 75 now. It has to be included if we want a chance against those kind of decks. A turn 2 Thought-Knot Seer is brutal against us. It's clear that blizzard banned twin for the rise of the new eldrazi aggro to come in full force but my god is that deck just pure beef with very little to no skill required to play it.

Ya looks like a few cavern's are going to have to be mainboarded if the new eldrazi aggro decks are coming full force. Either that or we need to start looking at lord's again? Because without cavern of souls or shattering spree/ancient grudge/destructive revelry we have a hard time with this match.

Also that list has 5 colorless lands mainboard, 4 of them being cavern of souls. Is it possible that they can work together even with atarkas command mainboard?
