Quote from ZephynoirOkay, how? That sounds friggin awesome!
Quote from xlich »Turn 3: Forest, Animar, play cloudstone. Ghost says drops a small creature tokens with master's call, while still keeping that last white open. Blue player mills me for a fair bit with traumatize, and I have no Eldrazis to save me.
Thinking this is the end for me, I went full blitz.
Quote from Virtus »Pact of Negationed a turn 1 Spy Network that was directed at me. I sure showed HIM who's boss!
Quote from Instereo3 »OT: Playing my Godo, Bandit Warlord deck against a friend's Savra, Queen of the Golgari.
It's my turn, and I cast Godo, searching up Grafted Exoskeleton, since all his creatures are tapped. I swing in, forgetting he has High Market untapped and a Grave Pact on the field. He sacs a creature to the Market, forcing me to sac Godo... which I then bring back for with my Nim Deathmantle (which also triggers the Dragon's Breath in my yard), search up something inconsequential, cast Magnetic Theft to put the Exoskeleton back on Godo, and swing in through his tapped out field. Before damage, :symr::symr::symr:.:D
The moral of the story here? If you're going to kill Godo, do it before he swings, not after. That second combat phase is a killer.
