Cry me a river.
I am soooo sorry that your Tooth and Nail wins now have competition in green.
But I get your point! How does a non-green deck even dare to win the game?
Hey. Green is completely fair and balanced in every way. No green player should have to deal with things that destroy/counter/prevent anything that they can do. What part of fun don't you understand you elitist blue player. How dare you try and have a game with reactions.
No one complains about Primal Surge. Why? It's Green. The same color that a great majority of players who whine about counters/LD/spot removal(I'm not kidding) play. So it's no wonder that a 10 mana blue potentially game ending enchantment will have a thread devoted to how it's killing the game.
I'd love to see how many people would complain if this was green and slightly different. I feel most of the "OMG ITS KILLING THE GAME! PANIC!" stuff is because the card is blue and hating blue is the easy thing to do.
Simple question:
What purpose does omniscience serve other to enable things that really are better off not enabled so easily.
Rhetorical answer:
Nothing.
There is no reason for this card to exist in edh because it does nothing but become an enabler for insta-win combos; there are too many of these already, why does another one need to exist?
Your reasoning is why it should NOT be banned. Because there are so many insta-win combos 1 more (that is a useless card in a vacuum) can not hurt the game. You can't yell "ban omniscience" yet have TnN, Gen Wave, Insurrec, ect...

10 mana spells win games. So?
