Sylvan Teachings1GU
Enchantment — Aura [R]
Enchant card in your graveyard
When Sylvan Teachings enters the battlefield, draw a card.
At the beginning of your upkeep, target opponent may let you draw a card. If they don't, return enchanted card from your graveyard to your hand.
Reincarnate1GG
Sorcery [R]
Return target creature card from your graveyard to the battlefield, except it's a land instead of its other types. It has "t: Add G to your mana pool" for as long as it's a land.
You're like 3 redesigns behind. Actually, it's almost back to the original, but it went through some radically different forms. I realized that problem immediately, and I've been redesigning ever since. I was overzealous, I'll admit. If it still doesn't work, let me know, but I think it does.
This was a harder challenge than usual, as it required a little actual research.
Enraged Dimetrodon2GG
Creature- Lizard Beast (U)
When Enraged Dimetrodon is dealt 3 or more damage, it gets +3/+3 and trample until end of turn. Untap it.
3/3
Infinite power/toughness plus trample with Burning Anger. It's not cheap, and it's easy to disrupt, but it works.
IIW: Legendary auras
Sorry, but that doesn't work. The creature dies before its trigger resolves because of state-based effects.
Cat Burglar1UR
Creature — Cat Rogue [U]
Haste
Cat Burglar can't be blocked.
Whenever Cat Burglar attacks, you may draw a card, then put a card from your hand on top of your library.
2/1
Snapping Caster2CC
Creature — Eldrazi Wizard [R]
Menace
When Snapping Caster enters the battlefield, choose target nonland card an opponent owns in exile with converted mana cost 3 or less. You may cast that card without paying its mana cost. (If it's a permanent spell, it enters the battlefield under your control as it resolves.) "It isn't enough that my sisters have been twisted into their abhorrent forms. Their horrible minions wield corrupted versions of their magic as well."

Lazav, the Puppetmaster2UUBB
Legendary Creature — Shapeshifter [M]
Hexproof
When Lazav, the Puppetmaster enters the battlefield, search target opponent's library for a card and exile it face down, then shuffle that player's library. For as long as that card remains exiled, you may look at it, you may cast that card as though it had flash, and you may spend mana as though it were any type of mana to cast it.

Second Chances2UUBB
Enchantment — Aura [M]
Enchant creature
If enchanted creature would leave the battlefield, instead exile it, then put it onto the battlefield under your control. Take an extra turn after this one.
If Second Chances would be put into a graveyard from the battlefield, exile it instead. "A stitch in time lets me kill nine more."

Spread the PlagueBBB
Sorcery [R]
Each creature gets -2/-2 until end of turn. Morbid—If a creature died this turn, destroy all creatures. The messenger had both warned and doomed his village of the infection that followed.
So I'm looking for cards that are difficult without being overly complex. Here's your judgments!
iphanx: I've read your card three times and I'm still not sure what it does.
Ink-Treader: This isn't really difficult to play. Search target player's library for X cards that are not good given the current situation and X+1 lands.
Mergatroid_Jones: This is a combo card, not a card that's difficult to use correctly. It's also very powerful; at the very least, it's a Crucible of Worlds, with extreme potential for abuse (Mishra's Bauble turns this into a pseudo-Necropotence)
Phyrexian Editor: Why would you want to give cards flash on your own turn? I mean, nice meme I guess.

Its current design works!
Sorry, but that doesn't work. The creature dies before its trigger resolves because of state-based effects.
I think getting to mini-brainstorm every turn lets you make a ton of decisions and is a highly skill testing effect.
Uh, yeah, it's supposed to be. If it looted it would probably be too strong.
