Quaarecta is fated to endlessly repeat a normal week that degenerates into the end of the world - and only the Clockmakers know why. Slowly these beings who exist outside time have revealed themselves after having posed as ordinary Quaarectans, and everyone else has strong opinions regarding them (specifically, whether they should all be hunted and killed). But what do they want, and can even they stop the loops?
