Challenge 2: Provides its controller with a way to win the game other than reducing the opponent(s) life total(s) to 0, ala Battle of Wits or Darksteel Reactor
Does this mean it has to say "win the game"? Or is taking an alternate route (eg. milling the opponent) okay too?
I wonder how far I can go just by using quotes from "myself"** for the flavor text... (I have done so for the last two rounds...)
Well, one judge is still in progress here, though Cantripmancer mentioned going to a prerelease today, so the next round will be delayed until later today it seems, so the judge still has a few hours to go...
**The person being quoted isn't really myself as much as a roleplaying character of mine; Aurora is a character from the block I'm making. It seems as though I often try to tie my entries in the MCC with the block I'm working on...
Things that give that characteristic to a spell simply give out the full wording of the sentence; it seems to be spells with no target that have it written on it that simply have the short form written. But when it comes to creature spells, then yes, it should simply be "~ can't be countered."

A card only requires the "by spells or abilities" clause if it has a target. Volcanic Fallout has no targets, so it's fine with the short version of the sentence. Urza's Rage does target, and it would be countered by game rules if the target becomes an illegal target, which is why they had to insert that clause.
Hm. Not sure why Insist is worded that way, though.

Uh, that would be round 3...

And I'd assume no untapping things like that.
