So I got a probation asterisk for April 1st because I forgot (like an idiot) to vote. But after reading the rules, isn't my entry just meant to be ignored?
Your card will not be added to the next day's poll unless you also vote in the current poll for that day (or put your vote in your post). When you vote, you need to make exactly two votes for two different people. If you notice that you've only voted for one person, include your second vote in your post.
Voting for only one person, for three or more people, or for yourself will earn you an asterisk by your name in the monthly leaderboard. This indicates that you're on probation for the rest of the month. If you're on probation and you make another improper vote, your card will be disqualified. Repeated disqualification is grounds for warnings and/or infractions for not following the game rules, so please don't do it.
Because I'd much rather have my entry ignored for the first day than get a probation asterisk. Just making sure.
This seems to be a more appropriate place to post about it.
So who's bad at reading? This guy. After my flailing yesterday (6 votes. Sigh.), I (briefly) read over the rules, and thought that it was 3 votes maximum. So, if at all possible, I'd like to avoid the disqualification (and the frankly terrifying prospect of potential warning/infraction in the future, although I'm never going to screw up like that again.) by taking back my vote for luminum_can. If not, it was fun, sorry for not reading the rules, and have a nice month. =D
So, did you guys put my name on the poll and then forget to quote my card in the OP? o.O
That's really quite annoying.
