There's three different curses that create zombie tokens! This one in particular seems to be fine whether you enchant yourself or your opponent. Decayed tokens are worse than vanilla, but a body is a body.
Casting Journey to the Oracle can be very good if you have a ton of cards in hand, but that kind of makes it a win-more. A lot of U/G commanders will reward you for ramping so you fill your deck with ramp: this one will ramp you but you need to fill your deck with rewards for ramp, so its kind of the opposite of many of them. Like a U/g Azusa.
Modern version of this card would never give opponents saprolings and give you one saproling for each land in excess you have over your opponents.
Crazy that Sporogenesis is in the same set as Pastures, they both basically make a saproling every turn but make you work pretty hard for it. They're also the only two cards in the set that mention saprolings at all.
No, don't damn the cannons, we bought the cannons for exactly moments like this, where we could take out other vessels at a safe range and prevent injury to our crew. Listen Captain I know you bought a fancy new scimitar and you're itching to use it, but those dinosaur teeth are gonna rip us in half, so let's at least try the cannons first. Back when I joined this crew we had a "work safety first" mindset but things have changed in the past couple of months.
Littjara actually doesn't work with Doubling Season, since it puts a copy on the stack and the copy resolves as a token, you aren't "creating" a token, if that makes any sense
If black market connections only costs you 3 life, it's really not all that good, is it.

Ok but this card won't make you Red Camarid tokens
