Herald of the Nemesis2UB
Creature - Avatar (R)
Whenever Herald of the Nemesis deals combat damage to a player, the next scheme you set in motion is ongoing. Change the text of that scheme by replacing all instances of "When you set this scheme into motion" with "When you set this scheme into motion or at the beginning of your precombat main phase".
Creature - Hound Cleric (M)
Whenever a permanent card is put into a player's graveyard from anywhere, that player may pay 4 life. If he or she does, return that card to its owner's hand. Otherwise, exile that card.
Name a nonland card. Search target opponent's graveyard, hand, library, and sideboard for all cards with that name and exile them. For the rest of the match, all cards exiled this way remain in exile and that player's minimum deck size is reduced by the number of cards exiled this way. "That sounded exciting."
IIW: Order of Leitbur
EDIT: Forgot about deck size. This is probably just horrible.
Whenever you cast a blue spell, add 1 to your mana pool.
Whenever you cast a red spell, add 1 to your mana pool.
If unused colorless mana would empty from your mana pool, you lose 1 life instead. (The mana remains in your pool.)
So you take 12 damage per mana per turn if any goes unused? I can see no possible way this could backfire.
then you better use that mana
Blessing of the Worldsoul2GW
Whenever a creature you control becomes the target of a green spell or an ability of a green permanent, put a +1/+1 counter on that creature.
Whenever a creature you control becomes the target of a white spell or an ability of a white permanent, put a +1/+1 counter on that creature. And now these three remain: Faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is faith.
Creature - Human Soldier (M)
Whenever a creature you control with power 3 or less becomes blocked, you may untap it and remove it from combat. If you do, put a +1/+1 counter on that creature.
Creature - Homunculus (U)
Creatures with less power than Disavowed Apprentice have protection from Disavowed Apprentice. "Master say flawed, but at least not crazy like Oglor."
Ink-Treader: This thing never offers any interesting decisions and you're missing a P/T. Your trinket text isn't really flavourful, but then again, neither is your card. arbitraryarmor: Flavourful and mechanically interesting. This is great! Certainly a contender. Ninja Caterpie: snickersnacker. This is actually pretty cute, but uncommon at the most. MDenham: I'm not sure you know what trinket text is. Lapson2: lel KageHamusuta: These guys are pretty good? I don't get the flavour at all, other than some vague white knight/black knight thing? pstmdrn: Onslaught/10 SelesnyaNewLife: Sure, I guess, but maximum uninteresting. Small Adult: Why does this hose islandwalk of all -walks? I don't even know what's going on here. AsianInvasion: Cutie, but can this be monocoloured? Thanks. The Most Curious Turtle: Hah! This is actually pretty bonkers though. Cythare: This is brilliant. Big boss homunculus. Cardz5000: This is actually a fairly awful card, and it makes for a very disappointing mythic. The flavour is awfully abstract. void_nothing: Why does Stickygrip get +1/+0? It's already tapped. Other than that, it's pretty cool! Primal Guardian is a terrible idea. avatarz: Can this search for the Ula's types? Other than that, this is sickeningly cute! Winterspring: Actually pretty in-theme for white. Cool! MagicBrains: Clever. I like this template. AmShegar: I don't even know if this works. spaceyjdjames: Needs a P/T. Nullstone Gargoyle does almost this in a less oppressive form and costs nine, so. Sagharri: Cute, but the three toughness makes regenerate a lot less relevant, and the rarity makes this kinda underpowered. willows: Go away. Sir Karn: Why elephants?
Winner: Cythare for enabling Stitcher's Apprentice.dec HM: avatarz, AsianInvasion, Winterspring
Creature — Human Cleric [R] Relinquish(When this creature enters the battlefield, you may sacrifice a permanent.)
When Devout Reclaimer exploits a creature, you gain 10 life.
IIW: exploit Relinquish
"relinquishes a permanent"?
Creature - Angel Horror (M)
Spiritbind (You may pair this creature with another unpaired creature when either enters the battlefield.)
As long as Karian Redeemer is paired with another creature, it has "When Karian Redeemer deals combat damage to a player, destroy all creatures paired with it."
Creature - Noggle Shaman (R)
When Noggle Chaomancer enters the battlefield, choose target spell or ability with a single target and reselect its target at random. (Select from among all legal targets.)
Discard a card: Return Noggle Chaomancer to its owner's hand.
sperlman - This is probably fine. Punishing others for artifacts is cute, but I feel like this may be somewhat unexciting. /
mirrorentity - I like that it's free when a creature enters, but I wish it attached to that creature, rather than any creature. /
netn10 - This is far too win more for my tastes. Reign it in. /
SelesnyaNewLife - I feel like there's just too much going on here. Each of the abilities by itself is maybe fine, but three different choices feels like too much. /
caiaphas - I feel like the equip is a bit too cheap for all the stuff going on here, but I really like both the flowstone ability and the pure pump together. /
swishh - I feel like the "as long as" should probably go above both activated abilities. It parses better. Otherwise, I like this. /
iphanx - This feels more like an enchantment than an artifact. /
sagharri - This also feels more like an enchantment to me, but I still like it! /
RedKid43 - Battle cry feels more Boros than Gruul to me, and the second ability feels more Selsnya to me. It's also at odds with the first, since battle cry pumps everyone but equipped creature. /
admirableadmiral - The first time someone casts this, excited to beef up their guy, and finds that the Smashmace is forced to destroy itself is going to be just as painful as the next. If this just said "another", I'd be fine with it. Forcing you to destroy another of your own toys is fine, but having it destroy itself is just feelbad. /
Next: This is why we can't have nice things
Legendary Creature — Elder Dragon (M)
Other creatures you control have lifelink.
Whenever a creature you control attacks, if Dromoka, Eternal is in your graveyard, you may pay half your life, rounded up. If you do, return Dromoka, Eternal from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped and attacking.
But banding is like the perfect keyword for a pack of hounds.
Samuel Taylor ColeridgeRW
Legendary Creature - Human Advisor (R)
As long as Samuel Taylor Coleridge is untapped, spells you cast cost 1 less to cast.
As long as Samuel Taylor Coleridge is tapped, spells your opponents cast cost 1 more to cast.
