Alternatively, you can add the signets for the color combos that 'want' them more than others (blue pairs plus BW at least) and then add cards like Mind Stone, Darksteel Ingot, Palladium Myr, and other mana rocks that might be wanted (blue talismans, e.g.).
Well, other than the fact that making a vampire token means three Spectral Procession tokens just kills him on the attack
New Sorin seems to slot as a midrange card, but seems to be best vs. aggressive decks in general (where the lifegain/power increase cause big swings), while the old Sorin can find a home in a wider variety of matchups because of his ability to generate an army on his own while growing, and provide long-term emblems fairly early on.
Shelldock Isle = Blue Land
Gavony Township
Gaea's Cradle = Green land
Treetop Village = Green Land
Terramorphic Expanse
Evolving Wilds
Cavern of Souls
Meteor Crater
The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale
Those would be by 9 moves. You won't need expanse/wilds as much once you add more 'guild' lands.
Yes, but often the number of perms/cards/gy is smaller, so it is less counting (and the fact that you really don't have to count the cards in your hand or lands, since you typically know those as part of game state awareness).
For me, I don't play Faerie Conclave because the nature of my Cube makes the other two lands very valuable; Shelldock Isle is just a way to cast a card at a (sometimes huge and at instant speed) discount for the slower/control decks, and is a card I would never cut.
If you don't have a need to recur artifacts (aka don't have an artifact deck archetype), then cut Ruins. If you find that games consistently end before the blue decks can activate Shelldock Isle, then cut that.
I have had many a 3c+ deck that has used this card to great effect as well, not just dedicated BW decks. I'm a fan, and Armageddon-type effect are so strong that I'm willing to do a little extra work for them, especially when you are left with a 5/4 flying threat.
I'm in SSS camp. I don't like the vulnerablility as a morph (since all are kill on sight), and the fact that it can be blocked and killed reasonably. As I and Wtwlf have said before, I want more 'punishable offenses' for auto-killing morphs before I add this guy.
(And I LIKE morphs)
@Colby: What 4-6 cards do you have above it?
@void: What's not exciting about 2-1 discard spells at 2 mana? There's only one other one, Hymn to Tourach, that is unconditional, and that card is a vicious beating. Trading random for lifegain isn't the best, but it is still a card that really doesn't exist in any other form.
Gerrard's Verdict is a card that I couldn't imagine playing without. It is such an important disruptive element for the WB decks, is a 2-1, and provides a Sophie's choice of discard a large portion of the time. Backed up with other discard spells (from black) and disruptive creatures (in white), it makes for a great deck.

Having lands that function as spells is a HUGE deal, and people should try to get lots of those in their Cubes!

And Jackal Pup. Tell your young friends to have some respect for history; Firedrinker is an improved Pup, but Pup is the OG.
