Fearghas was one of the few Sancti brethren that showed no interest in the speech. Instead, he was far more interested in the people who were staring forward and totally oblivious to their other surroundings. These foolish sheep were right for the picking and Fearghas had a case of sticky fingers on this historic evening.
None of them looked overly affluent, but there was one that Fearghas vaguely recognized. Was he a previous victim? An officer who had caught him? A relic collector? There was only one way to find out.
For a few moments, he continued listening to the speech, before turning to the thief, "Fearghas? Long time no see. Do you have anything I should be look at?"
With his memory reignited, Fearghas remembered that it was a museum curator, someone to whom he had sold many relics that were of no importance to him. All of their dealings were strictly under the table, so confronting him in public was rather odd."
"I can't guess at its age until I see it" responded the curator, "but I do know that it indicates the position of a great weapon, and it might perk the interests of the Immortalis."
Slightly offended, the curator explained, " you forget that those 'darn speakers' are what keep me... erm... us in business. Without their wars, how could he procure such valuable items?"
He cleared his throat before answering, "The only contact I want with you is when you bring the map back to my museum. We will negotiate a price then."
"Before I go into details about what you're looking for, I must ask a necessary question..." began the man, "will you be travelling with anyone? A significant other, perhaps?"
"Ah, still haven't found someone to settle down with? That's a shame. Better for me, though. Less people to have to pay" he stated professionally, "so are you sure you're willing to do anything to get your hands on this map, because I assure you that it won't be pleasant."
"Thread?" the curator asked, slightly perplexed. "Anyways, it's not only dangerous, but it's rather immoral. I'm just going to cut to the chase... you're going to have to do some graverobbing."

"You should know by now that price is no object for something that is priceless" frankly replied the curator, "so can I count on you before I tell you the details?"
"Okay" he started with a melodramatic deep breath, "far off on the land of ice, there is supposed to be a shipwreck with a map that contains information about a network of underground tunnels that smugglers used to use. The problem is, however, that the said ship was the first and only to ever enter those uncharted lands, and I honestly can't tell you what to find there. All I know is that it's going to be incredibly cold and nearly impossible to get to."
"Sure" ambiguously replied the curator, totally unsure what a movie was. "Well do you know anyone who will be willing to take the journey with you? I can guarantee that you're going to be hard-pressed to find anyone who wants to go that far south with you, and even fewer who want the spoils for themselves."
"If I did have a beautiful daughter, I certainly wouldn't want to send her off with a thief. Now, if you're persistent enough, you may be able to find the help you need. Good luck on your voyage, good sir."
The curator thought long and hard before fetching a book and handing it to Fearghas, "Yes, this will tell you all you need to know. Also, I know one man who will do anything for a price. Though, he's not a very trustworthy fellow and you can contact him at your own risk."
The pier was known to attract all walks of life and his first trip to the undesirable area reinforced many of the stereotypes. A young and somewhat attractive lady in a loose nightgown started walking beside him, "looking for a good time tonight, stud?"
"A man, eh?" she asked looking curious, "well... I could pretend. I'll do anything you'd want me to for the right price, stud." Her hands were running up and down Fearghas' chest sensually.
The girl clearly didn't care what he was looking for and was still looking to make a sale as she leaned in closer to him, "I'm willing to do something dangerous with you. I'll take you to a world where everything is valuable and always pleasurable. Whaddya say? You're cute, so I won't charge too much."
