Just thought others might find this interesting. Since worlds is dominated by Type 2 talk, the vintage stuff can be over looked.

I guess I can't say much because that guy won, but what's up with that list? He plays Tolarian Academy, Vault/Key and sideboard Trinisphere, but no Tinker and no creature that doubles as a Tinker target.

1x Emrakul + 1x Tidespout Tyrant + 1x Eternal Witness? What?

and the other top 8 Oath deck was 1x Progenitus + 1x Eternal Witness? What????


controllish-SCV list making top 8 was cool though.

lol, yea it doesnt look to good for the format when there is only 3 decks in the Top 8. But I suspect thats just because its in japan.

I really hope something will happen with the current meta, now that Gush and Frantic Research has been unrestricted. I think its time to do something with Time Vault as well. If that happens, I'll be back in business regarding Vintage! Legacy is great, but nothing beats Vintage at its best!

i dont think we can take anything from this top. That last deck list seems to be missing something, oh yeah mindslaver. I guess oathing for enternal witness is a japanese thing or did i miss something. Precursor golem in any stax deck is bad. Lightning bolts are actually getting played and it wrecks your day bad.
