Hey there! So as some of you may know, I'm a quizmaster around here... well, not quite a quiz "master", but you may know that I create quizzes on Sporcle. However, when it comes to solving quizzes, it's not so easy for me. Especially if they're outside my fields of interest.
So, there are 15 quizzes here (one per category), and each quiz has a "final answer" that is one word long. That is, after you solve the quiz, what you have left for you is a puzzle that you should get some one-word answer out of (and the word usually doesn't have anything to do with the category itself). I have solved some of these, but a lot of them I haven't gotten anywhere yet.
Please note: If you actually have already solved the whole thing, please don't help me with this just yet. You may post stating that you have finished it, and then maybe I'll turn to you for help later on if no one else has figured something out.
If you solve any of these, please post below (with the answer in spoiler tags, of course). If you have 100% on the quiz but don't have the answer, you may post a screenshot of the completed quiz and see if someone else can make heads or tails of the result. [Note: The Religion quiz is a clickable quiz, so screenshots won't help for that one.]
ATE - Each movie has "black" or "white" in the title. Convert them to braille spots (divide the grid into three 3x2 rectangles) to get the secret word.
STREAM - Take the sets of correctly-matched answers. Take the initials of each set, arrange them in order, we get:
"WORD THAT FOLL OWSJ ETGU LFOR ISLA NDSI NTHE", and STREAM is the answer.
ASHTRAY - Each set of cryptograms has one letter that remains unchanged. Those letters spell the secret word.
Also, this is the meta quiz, which is a quiz we have to look at after solving all the other quizzes. To see if a secret word you have is right, try typing it in the meta quiz. If something shows up, then that means your answer is correct. If not, then it's not correct.
For each clue, let n be the number of TV shows listed. Take the nth letter of each person's last name. It says "Male surname on Will and Grace"...
(I should mention that in most cases, what's written at the top of the quiz (in the instructions) can be a clue. In this case the instructions mentioned "some number".)
11 Bolivia (green)
12 Greece (blue)
13 Algeria (red)
14 Nauru (yellow)
15 Kyrgyzstan (red)
Word (not sure):
Is it America?
The rules says "Some wrong answers will appear in red". The following countries have red missing:
Norway - Europe
Tonga - Oceania
Iraq - Asia
Algeria - Africa
Kyrgyzstan - Asia
The only continent that none of the above countries are from is America (North and South).
This is the meta quiz, which is a quiz we have to look at after solving all the other quizzes. To see if an answer you have is right, try typing it in the meta quiz. If something shows up, then that means your answer is correct. If not, then it's not correct. Nothing shows up when I tried that answer.
But I have no idea what else to try...
(I'll update the first post with this.)
Also, "Some wrong answers will appear in red" is a Sporcle thing that can't be changed. That's why it's always there. (If you make a quiz and set up there to be wrong answers, that line shows up regardless. In these cases, he selected that option because missed answers don't display after time runs out, even if there are no actual wrong answers set up.)
The instructions mention the word "resisted", so I went to the resistor color values and got this:
Diamondbacks, Cardinals - Arizona
Lightning, Rays - Tampa Bay
Dodgers, Kings - Los Angeles
Angels, Ducks - Anaheim
Yankees, Islanders - New York
Blue Jays, Raptors - Toronto
Falcons, Hawks - Atlanta
Mariners, Seahawks - Seattle
Dolphins, Heat - Miami
Lakers, Clippers - Los Angeles
Red Sox, Bruins - Boston
Vikings, Twins - Minnesota
Athletics, Raiders - Oakland
Bills, Sabres - B
And, well, since we have all those answers now... it's not quite over yet. We have to make sense of this.
(Eventually something will lead us to finishing this final quiz, which is where it all ends.)
OK, so I'm not sure if the red text I added is relevant; that part is just showing what popped up when I typed an answer. But it seems this is what to do:
Look at the words written in blue. For each one, you have to perform a certain action to it to get another answer that matches the definition given next to the blue word. Take the number of that action written in green, and put that answer in that numbered spot in the final quiz.
1 = ADVERBS (from BRAVES - this was the last one I got)
2 = TRASH (from ASHTRAY)
3 = HOSEA (from HOSED)
4 = EISENHOWER (from TRUMAN)
5 = NAPPY (from DIAPER)
6 = ADDER (from BEEFS)
7 = OREGON (from FOREGONE)
8 = REWARD (from DRAWER)
9 = MASTER (from STREAM)
10 = IVY (from FOUR)
11 = NEPAL (from JALAPENO)
12 = EIGHT (from ATE)
13 = REVEILLE (from REVELRY)
14 = VERMEER (from VENEER)
15 = ARMY (from MASH)
Final Answer = GODDESS OF WISDOM (from the hint from the first letters of the answers, "Athena and Minerva")
EDIT: It's DONE!!! Thanks Moss_Elemental and izzetmage!

If we take the first letters of the names and read them in a clockwise spiral, even with the blanks, I can see "Your answer is JALAPENO".
Good job izzetmage, you're doing awesome here!
