I'm already doing what this description is saying, why is this app better?
I think maybe in my reading I'm missing something, but I can't think what it is.
Does anyone have experience using this for business?
(that might know what advantages it provides?)
Basically, it's going to eat your phone bill because of internet usage (they say it does not cost anything, which is a plain lie, the internet service on the phone has a humongous cost), will do the same thing as sending a text message to a group of person or sending a message trought Facebook to a custom group you would have created and is thus pointless. I deduced all this just from reading on their page, I never used and will never use this app.
Basically, it's a huge spending machine where they make money from their parts with the cell phone internet providers.

Casual crazy magic player, otaku maniac, unrully cosplayer, what did you expect me to be?
My phone can't handle group texts, especially when someone has an iPhone. It can take a long time for a simple group text to reach me and it eats up my battery life, and so I need a service like this when coordinating with friends. It also make it easy to create a lot of text message groups and add and remove people without having to start a whole new chat.
Yes, it uses your internet plan. Unless someone is sending you a ton of video files, however, you'll be okay. My wife uses it all the time (as in, daily), I don't and I still use more data than her, and even combined we don't reach our data limit ever.
It is really good when you are in a foreign country. One is able to send text messages and photo's at the cost of an internet connection.
Wifi is usually free..
