Hi! So recently I cleared out my downloads folder and noticed some sketchy files, so I deleted them, then ran malwarebytes to get rid of anything they might have installed. I thought that was the end of it. However, periodically, I notice they've been coming BACK somehow. I'm never notified of any download, I'll just go into my downloads folder and find them again.
There are usually more, but here are the most common ones I see:
ilivid setup (I know this is a virus, but I never installed it into my computer, and blasted it off the first time it downloaded (without my permission.))
FreeVideoConvertersetup (the icon is a black circle with a little orange fox.)
installer_avg-anti-virus_English (Downloaded TWICE, or so it says)
Unconfirmed download (some of these always come up with random numbers. CRDOWNLOAD file is what it tells me.)
SOme other stuff I can't remember right now.
I've run both virus scans (from Microsoft Security Essentials WITH updated definitions.) and Malwarebytes. Malewarebytes occasionally will bring up stuff, which I then remove using the system and then restart as directed.
First, you may have a problem with your web navigator. Wich one are you using, are you always asking the download to ask you where you want it to end up, did you install any free programs with what seems to be a complete set of web browser tool bars (also know as junk programs hitching a ride on the free programs, they often break your web browser and can be disabled by MB), do you clean the cookies of your web browser regularly, do you open suspicious mails. There are many reasons on why you get the junk downloads.

Casual crazy magic player, otaku maniac, unrully cosplayer, what did you expect me to be?
Updated on this. Cleared everything out of my Temp folder. The problem seems to have stopped. I'm guessing it was something hiding out there. Computer performance greatly improved.
It always help to clean the temp folder. Just make sure to pass MB after the cleanup, some junk has a bad habit of popping out when you make some cleaning.
