I've been trying to coordinate our "editorial stance" in Debate via PM for months! (Kraj, did you ever get that message concerning Hodoku?) One simple thread here could have solved all our problems! Why didn't anyone tell me about this?
Kraj, mikey, Furor, I begin to think that your commitment to the Cause is less than total. Put succinctly: you guys are ****in' jerks.

Everyone outside of Debate is always talking about this one card game, and I hate to admit it, but the truth is I'm a bit intimidated by all those rules. So I seldom leave my little empire.

And yes, no incantatrix for you. Or anyone. That class makes puppies cry. Mostly because they are the former Big Bads who have been Baleful Polymorphed into said puppies. By you. Because you're an incantatrix.

This is Deraxas we're talking about.
Remember, the girl that just killed an aspect of herself before literally consuming her?
Yeah, I don't see her handling a pissing match in any way other than a duel.

I suppose it's true. Though the logistics implied in a human/Great Wyrm Prismatic Dragon pairing makes me shudder.
...Something tells me that even should all arcane casters in the world unite, that the Grease spell would NOT be sufficient.

Yeah, but he had to step down - funny story - in order to devote himself to his new duties as Pope. Chose me for his successor, since nobody ever told him I wasn't Catholic, which put me in the somewhat embarrassing position of an atheist running the Internet Heresy (Gaming) sub-branch of the Spanish Inquisition.
Everything worked out, though; I just handed that office off to stan. Turns out the Inquisition has been defunct for hundreds of years now, anyway, so it's not like I could have done much. But who'd have expected it?

*shrug* Well, I guess it's just proof of my lame nerdiness. Monty Python is still amazingly funny.
Then again, does anyone else find it funny that decades later, people are still quoting -- word-for-word -- a group loved for their mastery of shock, the unexpected, and defiance of convention?

A couple of decades is nothing. When they top Shakespeare's four centuries and counting, then I'll be impressed.

Well, yeah. Why else would I have been adding all those liberal-bashing comments to his posts? Maybe I misunderstood you...
Just because we have the sense not to debate in the Debate forum? Thanks.

Ah, the old strawman strategy. Clever, and I must commend your initiative.
No - and don't try to distract me, you know it's not fair! It's because you never told me about the Lounge!

No. We CAN see you.
Wouldn't that also require Shakespeare to fall out of favor for several centuries as well? Otherwise they wouldn't really be topping him...
