No. He was saying goodbye and someone dropped an emoticon meant to mock people. Seemed like a fair response.
EC, glad to see you finally kicked the habit. Hopefully someday I will too.
How is quitting MTG an accomplishment? Its not negative toward your health nor was it hurting anyone. Theres no physical dependence on the game nor is it really difficult to do.
All the OP is going to get out of this is negative attention. Congrats, you quit MTG, why are you really still here (seriously theres a billion other things out there to do sides tell random people on the internet you ended a hobby). Nobody is handing you the gold metal or is going to be eternally grateful for such a random tidbit.
Ironically the OP says "shut up", but I think we know where this is going...

Apparently something I said 5 months ago gets replied to tonight... weird.
It's an accomplishment like anything. You have this thing sitting over your shoulder - an addiction or habit - and you finally break free to move on to something else. Magic sucks a ton of people in and for most of us, we obsess without any real gain. To be free of that monkey is admirable.

The reality though is that your obsession for Magic is not your real problem. If you have obsessions, there are certain behaviors that cause those obsessions. Its irrelevant really what your obsessed really is since theres probably an underlying cause to why you have the behavior.
Its just silly to put blame on something instead of being honest with yourself. Its like the same people who blame TV or the internet to why they have problems. Its a card game, it can't hurt you or anyone else. Its not a drug where if you stop taking it, you could die. Its not food to where it creates diseases to where your stuck in a horrible loop. You have way bigger problems if you let something you can control take over your life.
If you really think just stopping a harmless hobby alone is what you need to do, then you have a very tough life ahead of you.
I just sold all of my (usable) cards.
I officially have no working decks.
I haven't played MTG since March 2012.
Thanks to GR @ Yavin IV Studios for the signature!
How much cards did you have?
AND YOU'RE STILL HERE.
Was a mod here for a short time. Internet forum =/= playing MTG. I feel a need to say goodbye.
If that's a problem for you, keep your trap shut.

WUBRGPauper Battle BoxWUBRG ... and why I am not a fan of Wayne Reynolds' Illustrations.
