I have been a good moderator in the forums that I moderate. However, one forum that I have not lived up to my best lately in Block Constructed. I have chosen to retire from this position.
One person who has done a fantastic job in that forum and is always working on block no matter what time of the season is Feuerdrache. To be completely honest, he probably should have been selected for a moderator of Block Constructed when he originally applied and I nabbed it from him. In addition, Feuerdrache is generally helpful member on the site who has invested time in MTGSalvation.
Hello and welcome our new block moderator, Feuerdrache!

Stax has been removed from Custom Sets & Cards (and its subforums) as a
moderator.
Kraj and Avatar of Kokusho have been added to Custom Sets & Cards (And its subforums) as moderators.
Xyre has been added to Debate as a moderator.
Congratulations everybody!
The reasons for the changes:
Nai has been doing a great job for us and had the time for an active forum, so we gave him one.
Stax has decided to step down from Custom Sets and Cards because he didn't feel he was pulling his weight there. He will continue to moderate debate along with Blinking Spirit and Xyre.
As I mentioned when Xyre was demodded, I had no problem with him, he just wasn't putting forth the effort in the forums he was in. He had asked specifically to moderate debate should the opportunity arise and the opportunity simply arose.
We were looking for two additional moderators for Custom Sets and Cards because needed both a moderator to replace Stax and a third moderator because the forum is a very high traffic forum and could use a triad of staff. Avatar of Kokusho has been doing a great job and is active in that forum, and Kraj has been a consistently good and helpful member who also spends a lot of his time in that forum. Not to mention, he knows his stuff!
Congratulations to all of the new moderators and all of the moderators with new positions! I have full confidence that you'll all do a good job!
Will there be any more changes? I suppose only time will tell.....
Congrats to all the even newer mods. Yay for Nai and Kraj! You both deserve it.
And I'm glad to see we have a third mod in Debate. I've always thought that forum could benefit from another moderator. Have fun, Xyre!

All that I yearn for, for richer or poorer, is to be the light that you see. All that I yearn for, for richer or poorer, is to be the peace that you feel. All that I yearn for, for richer or poorer, is to fill your heart on my own.
But the rainbow is an image of hope for many reasons, as it is a brilliant sight coming out of oftimes dismal weather.

And yes, no incantatrix for you. Or anyone. That class makes puppies cry. Mostly because they are the former Big Bads who have been Baleful Polymorphed into said puppies. By you. Because you're an incantatrix.

Yeah, I don't see her handling a pissing match in any way other than a duel.

I suppose it's true. Though the logistics implied in a human/Great Wyrm Prismatic Dragon pairing makes me shudder.

We live in a country were ~50% of the populace believe public schooling is a socialist conspiracy and that being called Einstein is an insult. We could try and fix it, but unfortunately the other 50% don't believe in euthanasia.
As some of you may know, we recently opened applications for Market Place. We have now chosen our mod there.
Please join us as we welcome Annorax to our moderator staff. The final choice was a close one and we were very impressed by the many who applied. If we run into issues in which we need new staff, we will definitely keep the applicationso on hand for future reference and moderation.
We understand that there may be some controversy behind Annorax, but we are confidant that he will do a great job.
Congratulations!
Sincerely,
Your MTGSalvation Market Street and Administrative staff,
Sapphiretri, JayC, Urzassedatives & Lesurgo

Because of a lot of issues that have appeared lately and just for the good of the forum in general, we have decided to give Mafia its own moderator. Fadeblue was already a moderator in that forum and will remain as the Mafia moderator. While it may appear that Nai and Extremeicon have their names in the moderators of that forum, they cannot moderate it. Their names are displayed due to a technical difficulty.
If you have any problems, concerns, complaints or issues with anything regarding the Mafia forum, Fadeblue is where you need to direct those to.
I love Joboman, Poggy, Niv, and Vezok, because, while they may not be the best players, they still try to win. Having fun is the most important thing to a game, but I've learned that if you don't try to win, then you're ruining everyone else's fun.
I'm making a new thread for this instead of just putting it in the other thread because of the massive amount of changes to the staff that are occurring.
The changes:
Iceman8352 has been added as a Standard moderator
Le_Gambit has been added as a Artwork and Signature Shops moderator
Binary has been promoted to a Global Moderator
Erasmus has stepped down from his moderator positions
Craven has been removed as a Global Moderator
Iceman8352 was one of the top applicants for the Standard forum position that was opened after Kashmyr retired. After much discussion, Iceman8352 was selected as the best fit for the job.
Erasmus chose to step down due to personal issues and time constraints. Both he and Craven recommended Le_Gambit, who was subsequently moderated.
Urzassedatives and I, after much consideration over the past few weeks of talking, have decided to remove Craven from his global moderator position. While we appreciate his contributions to the staff, we decided that it was best to move him to a normal moderator position for the time being. Right before Urzassedatives left for his vacation, we talked and decided that we would promote Binary to fill that slot. We had been thinking about promoting him for a while and this was the proper opportunity to do so.
Thank you to all new, continuing, and former staff members for their interest in the site and the contributions that they have made.
I wanted to announce all of these changes at one time, but there are still a few more to come. Expect a new entertainment moderator as well as a new debate moderator to come shortly.

I only hope I fill the shoes.

You have deserved it for a long time. The same is true for Yukora and Krashbot. PolarBearGod is also a sensible choice.

Lots of fresh-blood in the Mod Squad, it appears.
But congrats Kraj and AoK. You deserved it.

Indeed!
Maybe now we can get some (more?) enforcing of the CCC&G card-game-threads' rules. Yeah, I want to see you mod CS&C, too, Spangle. One day, kiddo.:)
Thanks for the congrats, guys! I'll try my best to do a good job!

Stax has been demodded due to inactivity after he said that he would increase it. In his place, {MikeyG} has been moved into Debate.
