Wys thought for a moment, looking at the point on Weedle's head. She knew it was poisonous, and wasn't sure where the closest center was if Eevee got stung.
"Careful now, Eves," Wys said. "Don't let it sting you. Watch that point."
"Move quickly, tackle from the side!" Wysteria said. Eevee crouched low, then sprung up and sprinted to the left. She rounded a turn with the momentum built up and headed straight for the Weedle's left side.
Michael returned to cloud forest. He saw the other trainer, scanned the two pokemon into his pokedex and watched for a second, but then continued on his way.
He sent out roselia and he lead him to the area where the roserade had been. He looked around for the roserade.
Michael walked up to the roserade. He took the sack off his back and took out a bunch of pokeballs. He released all the pokemon within. There was a huge flash of red light and suddenly Michael was surrounded by grass type pokemon. A few up the oddishes hugged his leg as if to say "thank you" and they all started walking towards the roserade and deeper into the forest. Michael looked up at the roserade.
I know i already got compensated for this quest from the rangers, but lets see if Roserade will give me something extra :):)
Michael returned the gesture of thanks. He tried to return his pokemon. Zubat went right back in to the darkness of his pokemon. The remaining daylight was bothering him. Roselia avoided the pokeball. He ran to roserade's side and hugged it. Roserade gestured for Roselia to continue traveling with Michael. It smiled and ran over to Michael. Micheal picked it up and walked away slowly, waving goodbye to his new friends.
"Keep moving! Even if it hits you, don't stand still!" Wys was hoping that constant movement would keep Eevee from getting completely wrapped up. Eevee landed back on her feet and went to try and dodge again, this time to the side.
Wys thought fast. If Eevee couldn't move to her sides, she still might be able to go up. Her feet were probably still on the ground.
"Bounce on your feet; try to move," Wysteria said. "Keep moving, before it binds too tight! Don't let it touch you!"
Eevee struggled in the web and rolled on her paws, trying to bounce up and out of the way.
"Close call," Wys muttered to herself. "Build up some momentum and tackle again, hit from behind!" She told Eevee.
Eevee dashed around and charged Weedle from behind it, aiming for the back of its head.
Wys watched this and smiled. Maybe the Weedle would tangle itself up.
"Good, now finish it!"
Eevee ran to tackle the Weedle again while it was caught in the web.
Wys looked at it and frowned. It reminded her too much of small children, annoying little things. She thought to herself for moment and decided not to bother. She continued on.
Now she was interested. She considered how Eevee would handle a snakelike opponent, and decided to try it. Maybe she could even catch this one...
Wys let Eevee down. "Run to the side and use your new move," she said. "Hit it in the eyes with Sand Attack."
Wys and Eevee watched the Seviper. "Be ready for anything," Wys warned. "Stay nimble on your toes and ve ready to Tackle on my mark."
Eevee swayed on her feet to keep herself alert and ready to sprint as she watched the Seviper.
Wysteria thought quickly. "Legs apart, as far as you can; don't get caught in it!"
Eevee turned as she fell so as to land on her feet and spread her front and back legs as far apart as possible, stretching her body. She aimed to have each set of legs land on either side of the Seviper's mouth so as to not fall in.
"Push off when you land," Wys said. Eevee barely landed on the edge of the Seviper's mouth. Her front paws weren't as stable, so she was onyl able to push with her back ones, flipping her forward tail-over-head to the ground. Even before she pushed off, Eevee knew she had cut one of her paws on the Seviper's tooth.
Wys tried to think. A good sand attack could give her enough opening to make a good hit... if Eves could manage it.
"Wait for him," she said, "then bound to the side and sand attack."
Eevee leaned on her other paw to keep pressure off the cut, still trying to stay on her toes. She watched Seviper and followed his movements in the circle as to not be attacked from behind.
Eevee jumped to the side, but because of her hurt paw, did not jump as far as she meant to. Still, she went ahead and kicked sand at Seviper with her back legs, aiming for his eyes.
"Tackle the head!" Wys said, now anxious. Eevee charged fast as she could with her hurt paw, so she limped a little, wincing as she ran. Wysteria worried that Eevee may not be charging fast enough for the crucial hit.
Wysteria dug her hand around in her bag until she found a pokeball. She pulled it out and threw it at the knocked out Seviper, hoping to catch it.
Eevee fell back and laid on the ground, exhausted. She tended to her paw.
Wysteria ran over and picked up the ball, then put it in her bag. She smiled to herself, but was more concerned with Eevee's injury. She knelt down beside Eevee and looked at her paw.
"We better get this looked at," Wys murmured. "Our new addition will need attention as well... let's find a center." She scooped Eevee up in her arms and headed for the edge of the forest by the road.
