Suddenly sparks and flashes of electricity could be seen covering the Arbiter's head, shoulders and back. Juris tucked his head and tried his best to leave Loghain only his protected back as a target as he tried to barrel the fugitive over.
**If the pillar is coming at her at a slanted angle Arl uses a light platform to dodge the blow and maneuver on top of the pillar so as to run down it.
If the pillar is coming at her from directly beneath she instead dodges it by kicking back on a platform slanted slightly towards her foe and follows up the motion by darting around the pillar to continue moving onwards.**306
**Arl tried to get a shallow cut in before he completely vanishes from sight, tossing her sword if need be. Once the swallowing is complete the girl quickly spins around to see if he pops up anywhere else.**307
**Arl returns the blade to her hand and begins circling the area where big hat sunk into the earth to look around the area for any sign of movement without ever turning her back to his chosen sinking spot.**
Arl - "Do you have a way to attack into the earth, Juris? Or to tell if he's still nearby?"
**Arl folds her blade and shield into a spear that she then slides into the mud to give her something to climb on. She also pays close attention to any movements in the mud, or for the batch of mud to continue onward as though someone was trying to tunnel past them. Of course, if he was trying to go straight down the spear will presumably keep sinking.**
Juris blow cleared away a massive segment of the sand but allowed much of it to graze his shoulder. The sand seemed to slip through his defenses and grate at his skin, making his shoulder and the arm attached ache.
Arl's face full of sand itched and burned.
Loghain was visibly perched on the far side of the fissure, gun propped beside him as though he were using it to pivot himself backwards.
Juris continued to run forward, his feet still supported by Tread and his hands once again transforming into charged stone as he cast Lightning Gloves. His Static Coat blazed with more electricity as he hoped it would help to keep some of the irritating sand off of him.
