**There was more than one rotting corpse away from the pile, although what they had in common (save the one missing some clothes) were their nicer clothes. One of them has a particularly glorious beard as well.
The piled bodies wearing chains appeared to have died killing the Garr corpse they were shackled too. Actually, there was another commonality as well: All of the non-Garr shackled corpses were Jakari. All of the non-pile corpses appeared to be furless. Probably Nadrasks? It was hard to tell at this point.**
**It looks like the bodies had been relieved of their weapons, but Snake does manage to find a good deal of silver and a couple of gold pieces on the nicely dressed bodies. Maybe 51g in all. It is highly unlikely that he located all of the gold without anyone else in the group noticing. He also finds five decks of playing cards, a half-drunk flask of rum, several flasks of water, a picture of some dead guy's wife (probably), dice, flint&steel, a back scratcher, some sealed rations, a machinist's timepiece, and various other nick-nacks and totems.
Among other lootables, the bearded corpse had a bit of parchment that looked like a ledger calculating how much he was owed for per unit. The number of units matches the number of Jakari corpses plus one.**
Cek - Yeah that's a good reason for them to attack the Garr. From the looks of that piece of paper, it seems like one of the chained ones got away during the struggle or perhaps earlier.
Snake knew that the others had seen him take the gold but he figured they would ask for it if they wanted some of it. He grouped the rest of the items together including the silver and a single gold piece.
Snake - "Likely before, or the ledger would surely be altered. The only people that are worse to cross than slavers are their buyers."
Jougo watched as snake got the money. He looked at Akane and rubbed his fingers together and gestured towards snake. Figuring she would get the hint, he responded. "So this thing seems to have been involved in either the abduction of a slave, or was one of the slaves himself and got tired of it from what I can see here. Does that ledger say where they were going?"
Catching Jougo's drift she smiles and whispers, "Sure thing Mistah J!" She slinks over to Snake and casts a Lvl 1 Lithium and whispers, "Hey Sugah, you wanna share some of the shiny with me?"
"Slave owning is frowned upon by the Peacekeepers, I think. Maybe one of these men has a bounty on him. We should collect the heads of some of the well dressed corpses, perhaps we can collect a bounty when we come back."

Colt gladly took up Jougo on that offer. This business reminded him too much of Lautremont, an affair he had ingested a lot of poison trying to forget.

**The group eventually finds the location marked as the facility on the map, a rocky entrance to a tunnel leading into the earth at a serviceable angle.**
Akane slipped the gold into her void as she bounced away. When Jougo pet her she purred. She followed along with the others in a very self satisfied mood.
**The tunnel appears to be very dark, although not unnaturally so. Snake's other senses reveal a lack of any abnormal heat sources... and the unexpectedly fresh scent of a large group of humans.**
**Jougo's fireworks-aided vision reveals that this cavern-like entrance was pretty much always a cavern like entrance. He sees some crystalline bars up ahead; no one else does.**

Snake - "Looks like they were using a wolf. The bearded one looks well dressed."
The initiate began searching through the bodies. The bearded one in particular.
Go ahead and run, you'll only die tired.

Colt proceeeds to seperate the heads of the well dressed corpses from their shoulders, starting with the well-bearded one. It was exceptionally messy.
