Getting from Epicrin to Elexia can be as simple as following the Great Road or a days long wander through the surrounding forests. Whether you're in a hurry or taking your time, the world can sometimes surprise you.
This is the thread for all PC travel between the larger cities and outposts. See the guide post on travel here.
After a couple of hours walking, Juris hears a donkey-pulled wagon pull up beside him. At the reigns is sat a young woman with straw coloured hair and a freckled face, dressed in faintly Elexian garb. The back of the wagon was covered in leathers and strapped down tight.
Kherren Torga-Leen departed the city of darkness. Frustrated to have been so thoroughly harried by elemental magics in his last encounter, he trudged towards the port city of Elexia. He walked slowly, it was not in his nature to hurry unnecessarily. Whaghren followed along beside him, diving into the earth to hunt for moles and rabbits as they approached more fertile lands.
Theron cursed the lack of a cleric presence in Sylvan as he hitched a ride toward Epicrin. The timing would be tight but he should be able to consult the archives there before he was required this evening.
[Opt-Out: Unless Trab wants to stop me on the way back to create tension.]
**Yack, Cassie, and Adjack set off from Elexia to Ash. They spend most of the trip upon the crab carriage, but occasionally stop to hunt in the wilderness.**
**Ian's trip begins uneventfully, his steady pace keeping him fit and out of trouble. It isn't until he begins the trek north that he encounters a most curious sight - 10 hooded men hauling a large litter emerging from the wood. The 10 seem determined to haul the litter to the other side of the rode and back into the wilderness. Drawn curtains conceal whoever lies within. Hrm.. Ian could probably just ignore them and continue on?**
**All ten of the men whip their heads in his direction, as though seeing him for the first time. Each one wears an identical mask - that of a mostly featureless man gasping in surprise. The 10 men charge into the woods, dutifully carrying the litter as they make their escape.
They aren't moving that fast though... Ian could probably follow them?**
Yack find his travel interrupted by Cassie's giddy singing. Upon investigation he finds the child gleefully devouring the eyes of a massive warg's corpse, apparently poisoned or sickened into running itself to death. Its pelt was complete unmarred by any weapon or impact.
Vilhjalmr set out from Sylvan to Ash to participate in the auction as well. He held the wrapped Domrsvelgr over his right should and the Asi remained sheaved at his left side. He walked as fast as a man covered in steel plate armor could reasonably walk.
