Above Decks **Dr. Smalls and Esyllt continue to fight the good fight, apparently trying to try dumping some liquid down their foes necks. It is proving easier said than done, however.
The paper-wielder's sword arm takes Alexis' shot, the eyeless beast caught completely off guard. Or rather, the previously eyeless beast. The former sailor's entire body becomes black and steely as several other holes - like the one just made in its arm - appear all over its limbs and body. A thin, lipless mouth forms at the base of the creature's head stump and two red, extremely slanted eyes appear near the top. The feather in its head disintegrates without a trace. Perhaps the sailor's transformation is complete? Complete or not, the beast drops both weapons as it makes an incredible leap towards the jakari, both hands held together above its head as it comes down at her from above.
Javert and Ahab continue their fight.**
-------------------
Lower Decks **The swordsman calmly hops away from the stikes, allowing Binge to rise. The latter creature doesn't cause the same sensation as hitting the swordsman - it feels much thinner, looser.**
Thin - "Hold him off! I'll - what?!"
**The swordsman hops back again as a sack of manure goes flying to the side of the heads of Laghairt and Binge, a man-sized rot vulture ripping forth to do battle with the thinner monster. Tratorious suddenly becomes visible behind Laghairt along with a glowing orb that helps illuminate the room below.
Also, Binge tosses a punch at Laghairt's face.**
-------------------
Front of ship **Kaia breaks away from her severely maimed foe and rushes to Kage's side.**
**The trident wielder emerges from the darkness, its overlong neck now following its head through the ring that has formed in the monstrous sailor's stomach. It's rush is stalled, however, by Olus grabbing it from behind. The sailor's arms suddenly begin to fuse with its body, with Olus' arms caught between them and the trunk!
The brain-tentacled one dusts itself off and stares at his foes, the monster body growing more lithe and stone-like and his crumpled face becoming like an old theater mask. The crossbow wielder's arms fold in on themselves, prompting the sailor to catch the device in his mouth - which begins to fuse with the weapon.**
No longer feeling a connection with the Lavaforge Pole's strikes, Laghairt returns it to the normal realm and swung it upward at Binge as the monster's punch connected knocking the Ogofta back.
(BP: 143)
**Laghairt smashes the pole between Binge's legs, confirming his lack of any typical sexual organs. That's probably for the best. He hits Tratorious' shoulder as well; the staircase, walls, and ceiling are not really cooperating with his attempt to wave a giant pole around. The hooded man whispers something harshly into Laghairt's ear, or at least it would sound that way from a distance.**
Tratorious - "Don't let them touch a crate!"
**Binge moves to grab the weapon with both hands.
The swordsman impales the head of one rot vulture only for two forestguards to pop out of the mulch.**
---------
In front of ship
The sailor's neck continues to stretch as the rest of its body begins to flow over Olus. At least, until Kaia saws through its neck. The headless body ceases to flow (but is still pressed against Olus), but the head continues to change - this time opening an increasingly toothy maw wider than normally possible while legs grow out from the bottom.
A crossbow bolt pierces Olus' shoulder. Several yards behind him stand both the bouncing crossbow-mouthed creature and the 15' tall, rocky, incredibly lithe, long-clawed, tentacle-brained sailor. The latter creature's feather disintegrates - perhaps it is done transforming?
Laghairt allowed Binge to grab the pole. Unfortunately, for the monster it, slipped out of his grip and Laghairt jabbed at Binge's head with the end of it.
(BP: 144)
"Yeah. I hope that too...you know what. Let's not let that happen. Everything here that isn't on our side, or Ahab, kill if it gets too close to me, ok?" Kage said as he called Kaia back to him and drank his Reinforcing Serum. Then, seeing that most of the attention was on Olus, Kage figured it was his chance. He threw a shroud over Crossbow man's body keeping his legs exposed, and another one on stone guy mostly around his head. Once the shrouds were up, he raced forwards towards the crossbow man and aimed to get a vertical strike on his head leaving vortexes the entire time.
Letting his spell hold amulet keep his current osmose maintained Olus summoned a porcupine and osmosed that as well, thousands of sharp quills erupted from his already terrifyingly large body.
I just realized the 'quest for the white stag' was supposedly out of Canon when it was started. But it has sorta been referenced by other PCs on other quests as having happened to some degree - although not exactly as written since some PC/world changes were made after the prequest. Apologies for the confusion.
Above Decks
**Assuming Alexis dived forward as well as down the monster's swing results in a half-flip that ends with the beast with its back on the ground. The smash mostly misses the diving Jakari. From her current vantage point she can just make out the two multicolored weapons that were dropped by her opponent - the many feet, tentacles, screeching heads, etc of the other transforming sailors obscure her vision. What glimpses she does get, however, distinctly remind her of the paper swords wielded by an unusually young peacekeeper she had seeked a stag with over a year ago. The sword even seems to match, although the spiked paper shield is new.**
**Emille manages to help Smalls and Esyllt hold off the various opponents, although the bard soon finds herself locked in combat with some sort of man-sized plated green armadillo with the head of a lamprey eel and a long tail that spews acid her way. **
----
Below Decks
**The swordsman continues to fight the two summons as Tratorious carefully lines up a shot with a thrown dagger and.. misses everyone. The dagger clatters somewhere on the other side of the room.
Binge is surprised by the slip, bending down in a quick attempt to grab a hold of the slippery thing. Laghairt, presumably using the pole's sapphire power as he definitely does not have room to maneuver that strike normally, manages to knock an end of the pole into Binge's head. The resulting indentation would certainly be fatal to a normal creature, but it only appears to make Binge spittle out another helping of meat and smog over Laghairt's feet. The dazed monster sorta throws his upper body at Laghairt's stomach in an attempt to both straighten himself and.. maybe knock Laghairt back? Or something? The Ogofta gets the feeling this guy is not used to opponents that can fight back.**
------------
In front of ship
**The crossbow wielder springs back into the air even as Kage was casting the shroud, the constant jumping causing a proper shroud to likely conceal it mid-air. In anycase, the shroud does its job - the next bolt misses its mark and merely hits Olus in the butt. Although chopping its head will have to wait, Kaia does swing beneath the spring to set up numerous vortex to catch the creature when it falls back to the ground.
The rocky one's brain tentacles waggle in the darkness, as though seeking something, before they all suddenly point at Kage's head. He feels kinda tingly for a moment but is ably to effortlessly shrug off the effect.
If the dead flesh clinging to Olus could cry, it certainly would have. At the moment, however, there is nothing within melee distance of the warrior. Although the severed head of the trident-wielder does appear to be mobile again thanks to the spider legs it just finished forming. The former neck has become some sort of smoke spewing.. tail?**
As Binge pushed Laghairt back, the Ogofta absorbed the Lavaforge Pole into his left arm. He grabbed onto Binge with his left hand and a large round blade of white fire appeared above his right hand. Laghairt tried his best to introduce Binge's head to the weapon.
(BP: 145)
Kage gives a silent thanks to his inner shadows and whoever brewed that potion, not sure which one just saved him. Letting Kaia keep positioning herself to catch springy thing in the vortexes he turns and looks at the other two. Seeing the...thing...attacking Olus, he threw his crystal daggers at the head thing. He also increased the distance between him and rock thing, keeping up the shrouds.
**Binge's whole-body push is quickly converted into a grab as the monster does his best to lift Laghairt up and into the ceiling - given that he only has to cover a centimeter or two for a good head knocking it isn't the most difficult lift. Laghairt could certainly get his hit in if he doesn't mind trading a concussion for it.**
---
In front of Ship **The head-spider's feather disintegrates shortly before it is further altered by daggers striking its body and a crazy porcupine man breaking its leg. The desperate beast propels its main body, like a turtle with a massive fanged maw in place of a shell being fired out of a shaking cannon, towards Olus' face.
The stone monster tries once more to futility attempt to do something to Kage as it works its way out of one shroud and into another. It then returns to waggling its tendrils in search of something.
The sliced up springs break, causing the crossbow-mouthed beast to fall even further through the vortexes. Its lower end begins turning into a steely mush as its crossbow mouth aims towards Kage. Kaia manages to slice into the mouth at the last moment, taking the bolt but not breaking. The creature's twisted arms separate into four limbs, two of them becoming crossbow-like at the ends and two of them becoming grasping claws.**
Remembering seeing the weapons at some point in the past, and needing a better weapon, Alexis ran for the paper blades and attempted to grab one sword and the shield.
On the Deck **Alexis manages to weave around the various fights, darting to and fro until successfully reaching the weapons. A closer look at the sword confirms the similarity - it looks identical down to the usually long hilt. Further ponderings might have to wait, however, as the red-eyed monster is back on its feet and charging towards the Jakari's location.**
-----------
In front of the ship **Olus' spiky hands peirce the creature's tough flesh, black blood flowing to the ground below. Alas, the Ogofta was not quite fast enough to stop his foe from closing in on some tasty, tasty face. At least the beast's inhumanly terrible breath helps distract Olus from the horrible pain!**
Never having seen such a strange-looking creature before, the acid breath from armored armadillo (not the Mega Man X2 one!) caught Emille completely off guard, knocking her prone. From that position, she felt her only option was to thrust small, dark pebbles toward her new foe, her ammunition spontaneously combusting upon contact.

Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
A mere ten days after the Mending, a young knight of Valeron and a young ranger of Eos made a discovery that would change Alara forever.
Now that Binge had grabbed him, Laghairt no longer needed to maintain his grip with his Lavaforge Left Hand and instead braced his glowing red left arm against the ceiling to stop binge from ramming his head into it. He also continued to try and strike the large monster with his blade of white fire.
(BP: 146)
On Deck
**Emille hits the ground, having apparently tripped during her rapid dodge of the acid-squirting tail. The coals blind her close-to-the-ground foe, causing its tail to fire a particularly powerful blast of acid into the distance. It's not too distracted to bite into her shoe, however, the eel head latching on and doing its best to tear a hole in the sole even as it shakes in pain.
The paper sword makes a fairly deep cut into the incredibly dense flesh of her opponent, the monster's transformed flesh falling victim to its own transformed strength. A choking smoke that smells vaguely of gunpowder pours out of the holes dotting its body. The monster's own attack, an attempt to grab Alexis' head, loses some of its focused rage when a simultaneous acid blast to the side of the head momentaraly draws its eyes elsewhere. Although, how focused a grab made with such a massive hand needs to be remains to be seen...
A sudden SNICKER-SNACK rings from Javert's position, the man having switched from his previous weapon to bleached-bone spear. Ahab, looking like the cross between a man and a horse, collapses onto the ground as a the his bisected feather disintegrates. Javert's case lies open and empty on the ground nearby.**

**Laghairt's quick motion saves his head from a nasty thump, but it also gives Binge the time he needs to acclimate to the maneuver. He ties to swing the duo into to one of the walls, shouting curses at the Ogofta as he tries to set the ship aflame by maneuvering Laghairt's over-sized white fire sword into it. The blade itself was able to saw a bit into Binge's neck - apparently the bag-skin is not particularly flamble.**

The thin monster, glances away from the sole remaining summon in its path to see his alley trying to set the thrice-cursed ship on fire. **The porcupine-Ogofta succeeds at ripping the beast from his face, blood pouring from the newly made gashes in the sides of his head. The toothy monster quickly tries to right itself for another pounce.**
As Binge moved them toward the wood of the ship, the white fire blade vanished. Laghairt's left hand grabbed at Binge's neck where the now vanished weapon had done some damage and the Ogofta tried to wrench at the wound.
(BP: 147)
Below Decks **The bag-flesh tears a little, but ripping it with only one hand proves to be a difficult prospect. It does manage to elicit even louder swears from his foe, however, Binge letting go of the Ogofta in favor of trying to push his hands into the warrior's face.
The battle lights up when the blanket falls, the source being the apparently diamond-imbued dagger Tratorious had flung near the chained up coffin crate with his 'miss'. Percival - the thin monster - is nowhere to be seen. The summoned forestgaurd gets ready to stab Binge in the back.**
All around Laghairt's body a shroud of weak white light gathered and then solidified into a large cloak. The Ogofta tried to move his head back to keep from being hit square in the face. Laghairt also kicked out at Binge's stomach while he kept grabbing at the tear as best he could.
