**Legato signed up, his mouth quirking in good humor at that.**

Legato - "I'll do the first tier without a sword, if you're worried I'll bore the lookie-loos."

**Meanwhile, at the bar..**

Arl - "Only three.. who is Brutus?"

**The girl is quite surprised by the claim, but if there was a twinge of fear she wasn't showing it. In any case, Barkle can tell he has her undivided attention.**

Legato - "Ugh, what a showboater. Well I'm not going to tread water already swum. I'll save my theatrics for higher ranks. Either way, I'm ready at the first availability."

Arl - "Lutheran Silverback? I.. hrm... no, I don't think I have?"

**Legato nodded and made his way down to the waiting area.**

**The girl's eyes widen as Barkle mentions 'good as new'. She tries to remain cool, however.**

Arl - "That's really something, does the ringmaster do it himself?"

**Arl can't help but stretch one of her arms. Or rather, try tracking her foe from the tier three match using the weapons fused in it. **

Arl - "Varen is the healer, right? I haven't seen him at all besides in the arena tunnel."

Arl - "Huh. I really haven't seen him - where is he when he's not patching people up? If that's okay to ask, I mean."

**She catches the key.**

Arl - "Thanks! Have a good day Mr. Barkle."

**Arl leaves him to his work, but.. hrm.. yes, she's feeling like an afternoon tea. Perhaps she should wait for some company though - it simply would not do to have her afternoon tea alone. That's probably... 7 faux pauses or something.

**Arl walks by the table. She starts off a little too fast, and maybe slowed down a bit too much later, but it looked.. normal enough? She hoped?**

Arl - "Oh, hello! How are things going?"

**Ba-bump. Arl wasn't sure what had just happened, but that couldn't be good. The nervous girl briefly considered turning back, but she had come this far...**

Arl - "I.. um... heard from some guys that you had some sort of... um... well, a while back I encountered a man named Aloysuis Lautremont that possessed.. a sort of magic I had never encountered before or since. I always wanted to know how he was able to keep people alive that by all rights were dead and I..um.. heard you were experimenting with some sort of after-death healing that sounded kinda similar to what the lord was doing? It was a rumor though, I apologize if I'm just wasting your time."

Kage enters the lobby wearing his body suit in the form of a black fur suit that hugged his form. He had heard of some minor success at this pit and quite a few failings. He decided he would watch a few matches and assess what he thought. After seeing several failed attempts, and a few promising fights, he decided this might be a better place to help Kaia make her name as opposed to the other arena. He approached the ringmaster in the center and asked, "Good evening good host. I do hope you have room left for another entry into your arena?" He said in a voice as smooth as shadows over water.

**Arl cocks her head a bit to the side.**

Arl, to Varen - "See life where other's don't?"
