"Yes! Well, he's not in right now, but if you'd like to place an order with him, please leave the description and any items you'd like to have forged here with me, I'll give you a rough estimate of what it will cost, and when Wayland is available I'll have him make your equest in no time! Then we'll contact you, you can come collect your item, and if you're satisfied with it, THEN you pay for it. Sound fair?"

"Oh. Yes, this is my compatriot and longtime ally Wayland! He forges everything nice, but hasn't been able to leave me an example to show to people to prove it .... But word seems to have spread anyway, because you're here!"

Gamble - "That's a pretty unfriendly price, seeing as I can get another forge to make me a sword for five gold more without having to bring my own materials. I'll pay it, but you probably shouldn't expect me to come back if this doesn't turn out amazing."

**At some point Misty had entered the shop and haggled the following deal with Wayland: Two carvings - Spice Rack + Shakers from Season Stone; Salad mixing Bowl, tongs, and fork from Darkwood - for 10g, a wooden staff, a delicious meal, and a promise to cater a party Wayland has in the future for free.**
Gamble - "It's called Envious Ore? It supposedly takes on properties of a item of roughly similar shape and function that is near it when it is finished being forged. So, I'd like this to be kept close."
**He pulled out his dagger, handing it to Wayland.**
Wayland quickly grabbed the two blocks of material from Misty and the gold. He let her keep her staff. He then grabbed his green ore piece and went to the Kor Crucible. He walked over to the wall with all of his and the Crucible's crafting supplies and began to work.
He chiseled away at the block and when he was finished with it the result was a a short, two tiered stone spice rack that could hold three of the six small containers, chiseled from the same stone, on each of its two shelves. The small containers each had enough
space to hold (an amount decided by an WM) of a spice or seasoning and used a rubber stopper.
He then began to work on the Darkwood Block. He cut, using a wood saw, a section from the top of the block for the tongs. He used different sized carving knives and other wood shaping tools to cut this section down to utensils. One had a wide, but thinner handle and a deeper end that resembled a spoon and the other had a narrow, but thick handle with an end resembling a four pronged fork. The end of the handles on each utensil had an extra feature. The handle of the spoon had a notched section near the middle that was the width of the fork's handle with a thin, round piece an inch from the end bridging the gap. The fork had a deep, round groove cut into the back of it's handle an inch from the end. This allowed the two to be used as mixing tongs when the fork was inserted into the spoon. Wayland then used an assortment of different shaped wood carving tools to turn the larger piece of the Darkwood Block into a salad mixing bowl.

Wayland looked at Frenemy and then the ingot again. He stored his own sword and shield away in his void pack.
Wayland - Okay then. What length of blade are you looking for this sword to have? Are you wanting it to have a similar serration pattern? Just asking so that you get the sword you want for the money you're paying.

Gamble - "No, I'd really prefer it to be plain actually. It doesn't need to be long, maybe eighteen inches? Just a basic crossguard and pommel is fine. Really, it doesn't need to be fancy; just well made."
Giving Gamble only a few moments to answer, Wayland soon just used his ore to move to the Kor Crucible. Wayland took the ingot and used a saw from a wall in the Crucible to cut an inch off of the ingot and then put the rest of the ingot into the Crucible's forge. After a short while, Wayland seeing that the metal had begun to give off a green glow, moved it from the forge to a press within the Crucible. He moved the ingot under the press and began to use it to shape the ingot into a long, thin rectangular piece of metal. He replaced one end of the metal into the forge until it was ready and then moved it back to the anvil. He turned it sideways against the edge of the anvil and hammered it until he had the basic shape of a tang take shape. He moved onto a lighter hammer and mostly finished off the tang so that it tapered to not quite a point. He then returned the metal to the forge until it was ready to be drawn out. He finished that and placed the other end of the metal into the furnace until it glowed once again and then took the larger hammer and began to shape that end against the anvil's face, finishing it off with the smaller hammer to create a very rounded sword point. He then beveled the sword's edges after reintroducing the the metal to the forge and gave the tip and the tang one last go over with the smaller hammer. Wayland then introduced the sawed off piece of metal and the sword into the forge until they both glowed and removed them both. He moved the sword to the side to return to normal as he shaped the extra piece into rather plain cross guard and a round pommel for the short sword. The smith then cleaned and filed the sword to give it a basic edge and to finish shaping the tang further. Wayland placed the sword back into the forge for a while. He took it out when it glowed very brightly and plunged it into the slack tub to cool. He cleaned the sword up and then put it back into the forge, but this time he moved the sword blade around, keeping it moving and only taking it out after he felt its glow was right. Setting it to the side to return to normal, Wayland took a very plain piece of wood from a drawer and sawed it down to the right size for the sword's hilt. He sanded it until it looked very nice and then used and auger to drill a hole through it for the tang. Wayland then drilled a hole through the cross guard and pommel for the tang as well. Wayland then finished the sword's edges using a grinding stone and sharpened it further using a stone. He then polished the sword, the cross guard, and the pommel. Finally, he assembled the sword's hilt and gave it a leather wrapping for a good grip. He then brought Frenemy close to the sword after dunking it in the slack tub for luck.
Wayland then returned to Herschell's shop and handed Frenemy and Gamble's new sword over to the man.
Wayland - Here you are young man. I can't tell you if the sword took to the dagger, but I did my best to get that to be the case.
