Olo smiled a charming smile. "You have plenty of help in us. Many multitudes more than you had before we arrived." He grabbed the clippings and started perusing them. "What makes you think they are connected?"
She seemed a little startled by his gathering up of her papers but she smiled in spite of it.
Fields - "Well it's the fact that they don't seem connected that they seem connected to me. Our killer is very intelligent. He has gone to great lengths to make all these deaths seem like accidents. But there is a reason he's killing these people I just haven't figured it out yet. I have noticed a pattern though, one the authorities refuse to acknowledge! If you will look at the dates on the clippings the murders all happen exactly nine days apart."
"To make one death look like an accident can be accomplished with relative ease, but getting away with it and doing it repeatedly takes extreme talent. Since we are on a time limit before the next one occurs, what more do you have for us to begin on, or do you expect decent results with us flying blind?" Olo asked still casually.
An impish smile spread across her face and she winked at him.
Fields - "I've noticed one other thing. The killer seems to be ensuring none of the deaths happen in proximity to each other. They've been happening in a sort of spiral pattern. I've deduced that the next death will happen this very night and will be somewhere in the vicinity of either the mountain vault or the dust up. I can't be certain of course but those are the most likely places."
"And, strictly as a formality, are you the killer?" Olo asked with a direct stare.
OtN-"I assume she isn't but just in case I would like to be able to say I asked. Also, I'm thinking split up and each take one location. We should be able to meet up with each other should something happen. Thoughts?"
Fields - "Sir! I am a woman of integrity. If you wish to insult me then be on your way! I've got enough people around here calling me crazy field without you calling me a murderer."
**'Crazy Field' is a pretty sweet name! He'd have to talk her into making something of that; at least she seems to have the spine for it!**
Nervada - "Yeah, Olo. Hahaha, I know your last job ended up with one of your allies being some kind of serial killer the whole time but who'd be dumb enough to say 'yeah! You got me!' Haha~" **Turns to Fields with a sly smile** "Well, I guess he just wanted to see your response, eh? You're going to like our work, I think, and this sounds like the kind of job we'd be happy to do. Will you be joining us?"
Olo acted as though the response had no effect on him. "Honestly, I just wanted to make sure you had some reaction beyond hesitation. Oh, and one more thing." He pulls out the Standard Hiring Oath and hands it to her. "Would mind reading that aloud? You may make modifications to it if you desire."
Fields - "Well I'm not really hiring you so much as asking for your help... But if it helps I swear that I've been truthful with you thus far and that I intend to be so in the future. One other thing I have another friend that has pledged their help as well. They should be out of the washroom shortly. Ah here we are."
Olo didn't feel any deceit in the oath. Just as she spoke a dark furred low jakari stepped up to the table.
Jakari - "Friend is a bit of a stretch but I'm willing to look for your murderer."
Fields - "Oh um I'm sorry I won't actually be accompanying you. I'm not much for danger really. But I will be staying the night here if you need to find and consult me."
Olo, having dealt with far scarier things than some barred teeth, was completely nonplussed. "Both. At the same time. We will be splitting up. Who would you like to accompany. I will be checking out the Vault, while my brother here checks out the Dust Up."
OtN-"Picking locations based on who is more likely to break everything around them. And I figure it's easier to replace a bar than an item shop if you get crazy." Chuckle.
Olo shrugged. "I'm not exactly worried about safety. But, since you seem to be..." He turned to the rest of the bar. "Anyone here want to help stop a murder?"
Vendetta-"well if it's another sword you want I might be your guy... for a price".
He smiled as his smile seem to stretch all the way up his cheeks to his pointy ears.
Olo addressed the man who spoke, using Charisma (Just makes it so what he says sounds like a better idea.) "Unfortunately, our excursion is one of the justice seeking kind. There is no pay to be provided, however, if upon stopping this crime we discover any loot you are welcome to a fair share...Mr.?" He waited for the man to answer his question.
He got up from his table giving olo a deep look. He walked straight up to him only inches from his face then put a large smile on his face that seemed to stretch from ear to ear giving other people in the room a very uncomfortable feeling.
Vendetta- "when do we leave?"
Olo merely blinked slowly as the other man approached. "We depart now." Olo casually flew above Vendetta's head and landed on the other side near the door as he made his way out.

Fields - "I believe all these murders are connected! Although I was hoping we'd have more help with the investigation."
