For the Bane Lord: Yack's Infant Harpy has this (made from eldritch hide, "protected" is from Vivian Needle.):
Harpy's Mantle - A black cloak lined with midnight cotton, formed from the hide of an ancient chimeric beast. This cloak is designed so as to fold neatly over itself to swaddle an infant. Has wing slits.
Protected - The cloak is as tough as leather, granting a measure of protection from external attacks.
Blessed - The cloak possesses potent life magics, allowing it to do whatever bane says it does.

It's been ridiculously hot, but it's rained a lot here lately so it's been okay, but I'm waiting for when the rain stops and the humidity kills. Sorry that your suffering through a heatwave Bane, be safe and drink lots of liquids.
Quinn The Chimeric Eye – A crystalline orb around the size of a tangerine, roughly shaped like an eye and filled with a twisting rainbow of glittering color. What Is... - The bearer is able to identify the traits and properties of magical items and materials without the use of further tools. ...and What Might Be - Allows the bearer to see not what is, but what could have been, picking out new threads of possibility and bringing them briefly into reality. Whenever the bearer identifies one of their items, they may also choose to see a ghostly after image of what the item might have been. This is determined using precisely the same methods as determining the results of the original identification, but with new randomization. Twice per encounter the bearer may pull one of these alternate effects into reality, allowing them to replace an items usual properties with its alternate properties for the rest of the encounter.
In an effort to have a more up to date and easier to manage character nexus, I have a request of all you lovely people. Could you please fill out this harmless form once for each of your active characters. This will dump things in this nexus.
- Put your forum name or reasonable facsimile thereof in the 'Player' section and make sure its the same for every character.
- PM or IM me if you make any sort of mistake or have questions/suggestions.
- The following characters are already in the Nexus and should not be added again: Celia, Levana, Golan, Leef Arl and Odwian. (Additionally, the owners of those characters should definitely use their forum username in the player section.)
Once all these are done it should be much easier to add new characters as and when they're approved. And we can even get some fun statistics!

For DAK: Elder's Gift - A gift carried on the dying breath of a Kindir elder Adelmo met in a vision. Allows Adelmo to commune with the spirits who died in the area or in a particular person's past, gaining a broad sense of what happened to them and the nature of their problems. How clear this sense is depends upon the strength of Adelmo's relationship to the place or person.
For MK: Harpy Cloak - Cassie's unique upbringing and relatively extensive experience with humans, combined with the amplifying powers of the cloak, allow her (if she chooses) to use her song empathetically instead of mournfully. When the harpy sings, she can choose to modulate her song so that it instills a deep and meaningful sense of belonging in all who hear it, which is both pleasurable and greatly helps to defuse tense situations.

Sing lustily and with good courage.
Be aware of singing as if you were half dead,
or half asleep:
but lift your voice with strength.
Be no more afraid of your voice now,
nor more ashamed of its being heard,
than when you sang the songs of Satan.

- Your expanded profile among the warriors of Bakara has given you a distinction no one but a fellow Warrior would find appealing. Fellow fighters from across the East are more drawn to you than ever, and are more likely to challenge you to tests of strength so they they might match their mettle against a brother strong enough to earn a sponsorship.

While sparring within these special places, you earn 1 free BP for every 9 BP earned naturally. Available upon reaching Lvl 6.
Bard Sponsorship
- Due to your growing renown, you have begun to become something of a trope character in the minds of other bards (for better or worse). As a result, when other bards write songs and spellsongs, there is a chance that a fictionalized version of You will appear in them.
- The Bard Guildhalls are always open to you when you need a place to work, granting a sanctuary where you might compose masterpieces without distraction. When writing a spellsong, you may choose to write it at a Guildhall instead of on the field of battle. This allows you to loot third from last at the earliest rather than dead last. Beauty in Endless Hues - Due to your increasing stature amongst the guild, you have been given access to the works and notes of the greatest bards to have ever walked Bakara, information that has always been jealously guarded even among the initiated. This has expanded your knowledge of your arts in ways previously unimaginable, allowing you to add a unique Purview to two Performance Types you are trained. in.
Cleric Sponsorship
- Your show of valor and excellence has led to you being Annointed, leaving you with a special mark that gleams golden upon your brow at your will. This signals you out as a champion of Truth, and as is such you are granted a great amount of deference by those who also work within the light of day. Namely, you are afforded a much higher degree of respect by most people working in official capacities across Bakara.
- As a annointed champion of the Unfailing Light, you have been granted control of what was once a small abbey near the Fens that had languished for years before falling into disuse. Uninhabited and unused for years, this building is nevertheless still a sturdy and defensible building. What you make of it is your doing. The Truth Must Be Known - You have been singled out as a champion of truth, and that is not a laurel one rests upon. So potent is your quest to shine a clarifying light upon the world that you are drawn to even the most secretive of happenings. This allows you to attend any Item-Only Quest regardless of whether you have a the requisite item or not.
Epicrin Sponsorship
- Not every man needs a castle, but every champion needs a sanctuary. For weary adventurers all across the East, that place has often been Epcrin's much-beloved Drunken Ass. As a champion of the city itself you are given the royal treatment at this Bakaran institution, with your own private booth and access to Virgis's extensive private stores.
- Epicrin is the most progressive, technologically advanced city in Bakara, and as one of her sponsored champions you have access to the Epicrin's marvels. Due to a special deal worked out with the Machinist's Guild, you are able to purchase Machinist Items from the Tomorrow Forge for agreed upon prices and services rendered. First, Foremost, Forever - Epicrin is the unofficial capitol of the East, and it should be no surprise that the city's sponsored adventurers are similarly seen as among the cream of Bakara's crop. Other city officials are often eager to work with such champions, and anyone putting together a quest would be thrilled to have such rarefied company. All Bounty and Hunt Payments are increased by %5, and you receive 10 additional LP after every quest.
Elexia Sponsorship
- As a champion of Elexia you have gained a degree of fame among the good people of the Home of the Wayfarer. From the snooty merchant-nobles to the flithy dock trash they share a mutal hatred with, you are the only other thing they agree on as good besides the Elexian Forceball Team and tea. You are great.
- Elexian Champions have more important issues weighing their minds than what to wear, where to eat, when to sleep, why to bath and how to clean up this awful mess. That is why Elexian Champions have Valets. Your Valet is Waterbury, an ageless man with the manners of a prince and the discretion of an angel who will never speak a word out of turn, will accept any order with dignity and grace, and will spongebathe you should it be required. The Finest Things - Elexia has its own way of doing things, and its own way of treating its champions. Namely, the best way possible. The Home of the Wayfarer likes to send it its Best and Brightest off with an Elexian tradition known as the Fortune's Feast, honoring the widely held belief that if you are going to risk your life, you might as well get some nice food out of the deal. Before doing on any sort of quest, you (and up to two guests) may take part in a sumptuous meal at the prestigious Bai Hai Club. Over the course of said feast, each character will make menu choices in a manner not unlike using a Loot List, creating a unique meal. These choices will combine together to give the character a unique boost that will last for the duration of their next quest.
Ash Sponsorship
- Ash is the City of Guilds, but it is also the ancestral home of the Kindirin People. While they often choose not to take an active hand in the rule of Ash, they do take an active interest in those individuals honored as champions of Ash. As a result, you are closer to the hearts and minds of the kindirin people than most living in the Guild City, if not a brother than at the very least a favored cousin of the mountain tribes.
- To most of the world, Ash is the Guild City and the gate to the North, one of the foremost centers of civilization in the world. But to the foothill villages of the Alogeans, Ash might as well be the center of everything, the one shining beacon of adventure and excitement amongst their lives of sheep-sheering and turnip farming. As a champion of Ash, you are as close to a living legend as it gets among the sons and daughters of these farming villages, and can expect to find yourself overflowing with gushing notes of adoration and tokens of esteem after your inevitable future triumphs. Champion of Guildhame - Ash was founded on the principle of the Guilds of Bakara working together towards their common goals, but it can sometimes seem like those "common goals" are few and far between. That is why the sponsored champions of Ash have been charged to foster further unity between the Guilds and Societies, acting as ambassadors of sorts between groups that often seem to have nothing in common. As a result, your working relationship with officials of any Guild or Society will always start from a positive position. In addition, you may access Guild-Restricted job and quest content regardless of guild/society affiliation.
Lumarin
As a result of his dealings with The Richards and their promoter Perrin Loveday, all men of low character who's facades the holy warrior instantly saw through, Lumarin has gained use of the following ability. I See You - Through direct extended eye contact, Lumarin may cause his own eyes to flare up in a golden light that connects the cleric with his target for a brief moment, briefly connecting the two in an intangible but profound way. Mechanically, this functions almost identically to the Soul Gaze ability. However, this ability cannot be used discreetly and is far more taxing on the user.
Vil
Vilhjalmr gained new insight into the phasing ability of his Soul Blades through use in the field during the events of the Run, allowing the use of the following ability. Begone From This World - Three times an encounter Vil may release an arc of spirit energy from the blade of his sword, dealing damage equal to the force of a strong punch. Extreme increase in effectiveness against ghosts, elementals and other incorporeal beings.
Strom Never Back Down
Over the course of The Run Strom was smashed by golems, sliced by swords, burned by elementals and at one point literally put to the boots by five extremely hostile Richards. Yet through it all it never once considered bowing out, facing his challenges without a thought for his increasingly broken body. Once Strom is already injured enough, he takes significantly reduced damage from all further attacks.
Herschell Eye for Talent
His experiences during the events of The Run taught Herschel a very valuable lesson: Hiring someone else to do all your fighting for you is amazing and also great. As a result, the merchant has developed an even keener eye for the diamonds in the rough, giving all mercenaries he hires boosted abilities.
Life on The Edge - Diarnan's life of isolation and constant danger, combined with the inherent nature of his parents, have ingrained in his soul the desire to escape and travel. He constantly feels the need to be moving and the desire to be somewhere else. (Emergence) Lvl 1. Diarnans body is constantly on edge no matter how calm the world around him may be. He is immune to calming effects and quick to react to danger. Lvl 2. While moving at full speed, Diarnan's aura becomes visible and blurs him, making him harder to make out and target. Lvl 3. Diarnan's edginess extends to preternatural awareness, all his senses merging to alert him to danger around him that most people would be unawares of, keeping him from being blindsided. Lvl 4. Diernan's flight response is kicked into hyperdrive, allowing him to go from stock still to full speed in an instant. His ability to move at high speeds is also enhanced, allowing him to turn on a dime keep stable footing no matter what the terrain. Lvl 5. When frightened or extremely stressed, Diernan will sometimes suddenly find himself standing elsewhere, usually within a few yards of where he was, though he can rarely effect where. Combat-wise, this usually only happened when violence first breaks out, protecting him from the initial attacks. Lvl 6. Coming to grips with is ability to vanish and reappear, Diarnan can briefly flicker away and back again to the same spot. This allows him to perfectly dodge projectile attacks he can see coming do he can time it properly. This is of little use in close quarters, the risk of flickering back into the attack or attacker is too great. Lvl 7-10. Still Working On Them.

Legato
Serious Moonlight ability Battleforged - The blade absorbs the energy from every clash, the warmth from all the blood it spills, the heat from every battle its involved in into itself. Powered by Battle Posts using Serious Moonlight. Lvl 1. The blade can be reshaped like a Fiermage Dagger BP: 25 Lvl 2. The blade can be reshaped into a gauntlet that can be shaped like blade can be and extends the below ability to the gauntleted arm. Transforming back to blade counts as unsheathing for abilities. BP: 55 Lvl 3. The blade can be made intangible, passing through bodies and armor. Bodies it passed through have their body heat drained into the blade, causing disorientation and shivering chills. BP: 90 Lvl 4. The touch of the blade can perfectly cauterize wounds without doing further damage. BP: 130 Lvl 5. Wounds dealt by the blade cause the wounded to become extremely feverish. BP: 175

Dany
Aurevel Armor Abilities
> The sound of the Aurevel's roar is amplified by storm magics, allowing it to roar incredibly loud and disorient enemies.
> The armor has a weak magnetic field that weakens strikes and impacts from metal and stone objects and weapons.
> Once per encounter, Dany may choose an naturally occuring animal type she's personally encountered. She may replace the the mountain lion, mountain goat, or horse in the Aurevel's makeup and replace it with the chosen animal type for the rest of the encounter.
> The Aurevel sensory organs alter, giving it Echolocation, Heat Vision or Enhanced Smell.
---------------------------
Herschell
He can now buy these from the Machinists, to sell or use as he sees fit.
Electrothaumic Capacitor - 50 Gold - An electrical device that can absorb the charge/power from a crystal, permanently rendering it powerless. This charge can be infused into another crystal, creating a hybrid/rift or amplifying it if like crystals are used, Can also charge a zircon with raw arted power for enchanting. One use.
--------------------------------
Gamble Valor Liquido Emerald - The fire created through either use burns green and rapidly spreads out over surfaces it touches in tendrils of flame. Onyx - The fire created through either use burns purple and creates great billows of extremely thick black smoke. Amethyst - The fire created through either use burns indigo and can be shaped and flowed by your thoughts.
Gray Mantle
> The Gray mantle is infused with life magics that feed off of Gamble's spirit. Now, like him, it is incredibly adaptable in the face of fate and chance. The mantle will alter itself to fit whatever is needed at the moment. It will harden in combat to modifier 3 armor, its pockets will become voided and widen if you need to carry large objects, and change its tailoring/shape if Gamble needs it, be it a disguising hooded cloak or summery tubetop. Hopefully not the tubetop. Changes dependent on Gamble knowledge of the situation.
--------------------
Lucian
The kitsari is now just as fleetfooted as Lucian, able to dodge much more adeptly and can fight with a blade held in its mouth is necessary. When it reaches level 6 it has Lucians level of skill with a blade in human form, when it reaches level 8 this skill extends to its tails.

Just putting this here instead of leaving on that thread I edited it into a few pages back:
Yack learned the Sentinel edge "Wild Potential" choosing his landshark:
Adjack, the baby Young landshark An eyeless, brownish-red scaled creature that looks like a cross between a shark, a lizard, and a snake. The landshark can be altered by its owner’s bestial magics as though it were a summon. Adjack is leveled by bestial magics. > The baby landshark slithers around and can use vibrations in place of the eyes it doesn’t have when in contact with the ground. (2’ Long, Stone strength scales) > The baby landshark’s teeth finish forming, allowing it to make nasty bites. (3’ Long, Iron strength scales) > The baby land shark can swiftly travel through the earth via rapid personal vibrations. (4’ Long, Steel strength scales)
Raise Hedgecrawler - Etch + Raise Cultivorian - Call forth from the earth, a hedgehog of plant and stone, with a chubby green body, paws and spikes of stone, and crystal eyes. This is a passive spell that does not need to be maintained, the creature remains with you. If it is killed or destroyed, it will reemerge from the ground in four posts. Lvl 1. Can be called forth the size of a mouse. It can burrow through the earth and dig through stone as if it were wet clay. Lvl 2. Can be called forth the size of a guinea pig. While burrowing, it can track movements through vibrations in the earth. Lvl 3. Can be called forth the size of a cat. When rolled up protectively into a ball, it can create a protective perfect sphere of amber around it. Lvl 4. Can be called forth the size of a fox. When burrowing, it can emerge from the ground with great force, creating a dust cloud and scouring spray of fine debris. Lvl 5. Can be called forth the size of a dog. While burrowing, it can cause a patch of slick moss to grow over the ground above it.

Inner Champion - Take on a magical warrior form based off your inner spirit. You cannot cast or maintain other spells or summonings as long as this is in effect or for a post afterwards.

Hado-Ken - Release from your hand a projectile forged from your life-force. Its appearance and properties vary from caster to caster.

and
Hado-Ken - Release from your hand a projectile forged from your life-force. For Misty this projectile is translucent silver in the shape of her head, hair trailing behind it like a comet tail.
Strom
Never Back Down
Over the course of The Run Strom was smashed by golems, sliced by swords, burned by elementals and at one point literally put to the boots by five extremely hostile Richards. Yet through it all it never once considered bowing out, facing his challenges without a thought for his increasingly broken body. Once Strom is already injured enough, he takes significantly reduced damage from all further attacks.
Herschell
Eye for Talent
His experiences during the events of The Run taught Herschel a very valuable lesson: Hiring someone else to do all your fighting for you is amazing and also great. As a result, the merchant has developed an even keener eye for the diamonds in the rough, giving all mercenaries he hires boosted abilities.
Life on The Edge - Diarnan's life of isolation and constant danger, combined with the inherent nature of his parents, have ingrained in his soul the desire to escape and travel. He constantly feels the need to be moving and the desire to be somewhere else. (Emergence)
Lvl 1.
