**On the border of the Artisan and Back Quarters, between the Tomorrow Forge and Newleaf Park, sits a towering structure of rough hewn stone that currently houses the City Forge.
Once the main guildhouse of the Warriors Society, before it moved to Ash, the property was bought up by the city and refitted to serve as the production center for all the city's metalwork and machining. Across four stories and a basement, where men once sparred and training their bodies, forges and anvils now blaze and ring, day in and day out, fueling the fires of progress and invention.**

Golan, Gamble, Morgan, Ra'es and Dawn's new character arrive at their latest lead, the city Forge.
"Gamble, the reason we're here is because the Codians knew about the Tidal Forge, a rare anvil of which only three are known. Deathcloak used the one in the Codian graveyard, causing an explosion, probably the same type of explosion that destroyed the Brass Jacket, an armorer that Slayd used to procure materials for. Now, he's found the third, in the City forge. He has the custodian's keys, probably got the blueprints for the building from Tauren, and he has his brothers body. I suspect he's trying resurrect his brother using the innate powers of the rare material that is in the armor he now wears. Got it?"

Gamble - "Well, unfortunately tracking him was the easy part. Golan and I created a couple contingency plans for evening the odds if we crossed paths, but really said plans rely pretty heavily on Slayd not catching us and ripping out our spines."

Morgan held up the silvery stave she had picked up on the way here. She seemed uncomfortable with the weapon, but determined.
Morgan- If we're lucky he'll be distracted by whatever he's trying to do here. And nervous... this has gone explosively wrong twice already and he knows it.
**Inexplicably, reality shifted slightly. Re'as never existed. Lucian had been part of this bounty the whole time--and strangely, Lucian was 50 gold lighter, but had a treasure map. Everything else was normal.**

Roger, the odd man with metallic implants who had also been hunting Deathcloak, who had joined them at the Codian, and who had scared off Rali due to his demeanor, stood still besides the occasional twitching limb."Explosions. Nope. Never... stopped him before. Survived twice. Collateral damage, no matter."
**The door opened onto a large lobby, its stone walls and floor clad in adornments to make it seem less stark and more official. Two guards flanked the door, and a large desk across the way had a large garr seated behind it, sorting through papers.**

Gamble - "He might not use the front door. He has access to a set of city custodian's keys and clearly got something out of the city planner in exchange for returning his daughter to him."
**He rose, helting a maul from behind his desk with a head roughly the size of Golan, and headed out the door on the right side of the room. Beyond it was a massive assembly room where workers were putting together manufactured pieces from elsewhere in the forge. A pair of heavily armored guards in the room started following the garr once he signaled them curtly.**

**Gamble followed, trying to keep a collected air about him but secretly very glad that they seemed to be surrounded by highly capable warriors. In the excitement of running down the clues leading up towards Deathcloak's plan, the man had forgotten that he was in essence a weakling.**

**They were lead though the assembly room, through a forging room, and to stone stairwell. They were led down into the basement, though a brass door, and then the garr stopped.
A hallway spread before them, one of the wood paneled walls had been broken down from the outside, revealing what appeared to be an old boarded up shaft of some sort. Several piles of stone lay about the floor in front of the hole.**

Roger prepped his pistol. Lowering into a crouch, he backed himself against a wall, his body all a-tingle and jumping with any sudden movement from the garrstone.
