The Jade Dragon is a small tea house in the docks district of Elexia, perched in between a couple of extremely busy jetties. The decor favors a large number of pastel greens and porcelain examples of its namesake adorn the windowsills. The Jade Dragon is famous for its exotic teas and spiced coffees and is quite popular among the locals.
Elexia's Thieves however, know that it is one of many similar locations where one can make contact with the Counters of the guild. Ordering an atarin tea, a brew renowned for its horrible, salty taste, signals a desire to meet. Counters keep records of every thief's chips and direct individuals to those who can provide them with the training they desire. They also provide access to the thieves' information network and, on occasion, arrange meetings with higher up members of the guild.
A large nadrask entered the Jade Dragon, older than most of his kind. He crossed to the counter, ordered an atarin tea, paused for a moment, nodded, then ordered another atarin tea. As foul as it was, Freak was one of the few that could stomach the drink.
"Not much of a specialist, but I can get **** done." Junior hopped onto his masters lap, scratching at his missing ear. "What do you want?" Freak asked the chimera as he it off.
Freak followed her to the door, while Junior busied himself with sniffing at an abandoned teacup. The nadrask doubled back, snatched his pet by the neck, and returned to the kindrin woman.
The chimera hopped back onto Freak's lap, dropping something on his groin. The nadrask grabbed the note, reading it over with no consideration for its public appropriateness.
It gave details of a shipment that was due to leave for Epicrin in the near future, a specific item was highlighted as being of greatest importance on the shipment.
The greel pulled a very odd looking expression, Kage felt a little ticklish for a second. The greel then pulled out a scrap of paper and scribbled something on it.
