Alacritas grabbed the his hilt with both hands, and charged in to meet Kadri, preparing for a strike.

The saaur feigned throwing a punch and then slid underneath Alacritas, aiming to trip the swordsman with his tail.

The feint worked, and Alacritas tumbled into a roll. He swiftly jumped back onto his feet, although needing a second to regain his composure.

Kadri did likewise at the end of his roll.

Kadri- Very good!

It took a great deal of time but Kadri was able to teach Alacritas the correct way to land from almost any angle using a combination of demonstration and sparring.

Kadri- Very good! Very good. You'll need further instruction in Ash, but you have the makings of a fine aerialist.

Alacritas nodded. "I was made to fly. From birth."

Kadri- And you shall! Good tidings Brother.

Alacritas returned it with a bow, and departed from the docks.

Colt showed up at the first warrior location he had ever been, to learn how to best slaughter tiny, human sized opponents.

**Legato stood in one of the fighting circles, stretching out an arm.**

Legato - "There you are. I thought it was a pity we didn't get much chance to fight near one another during the Invasion, kitten."

"I made quite a few fans that day/week/month. There are quite a few fine warriors I'd like the chance to test my mettle against."

**Legato grinned amiably, gripping his sword.**

Legato - "I dunno! You're okay against a horde of spindly elves sure, but what about someone who's more used to swords than daisy-chains?"

"I did find those elves a bit Daisy-ish." Colt was already gripping his sword. He keeps it attached to himself with a length of rope, because no Sheathe will fit it. "Come at me, Bro!" So to speak, Colt wouldn't really say Bro. I just ran out of time and brain-energy writing this one.

Legato - "Hm!"

**With that, the man dashed toward towards Colt.**

Colt thrust his sword directly in front of him to intercept the charge.

**Legato darted to one side around the sword, giving the blade a deflecting slash with his own blade.**

Colt spun the opposite direction (I'm gonna say you dodged to Colts right, and Colt is spinning to his left), and swung his sword around to bring the flat of the blade into the area where Colt predicted Legatos face would soon be.

**The lithe swordsman threw himself into a knee slide, skidding under the swing.**

Legato - "You're fast, kitten!"

"You have to be faster than a Bearion to eat one!"

Colt faced Legato, and brought his sword down in a straight arc to the ground, potentially splitting his friendly sparring partner in two.

Perhaps Colt didn't get the idea of friendly sparring. *Shrug*

**Grinning, Legato threw out a hand to blast Colt with dazing ice as he continued to skid forward.**

Colt is Dazed by the icy blast, and fails to finish his murderelating blow.

**The swordsman hopped to his feet, sword readied.**

Legato - "You certainly don't pull your punches."

"What? No, you PUSH when you punch. Have you never punched?"

Colt didn't understand the idiom.

Legato - "Maybe you'll show me soon, kitten. Are you tired already; come at me!"

Colt was mildly upset at the man's hubris, and leapt upward, swinging his sword down at Legato's head.

**Gritting his teeth, Legato dug in and swung his sword up to meet the blow head on, trying to hold the strike back despite Colt's slight strength advantage.**
