Near the southern end of the docks district, a distance from the main pier system, is an old dilapidated looking pier with countless roughshod improvements made to it. In times gone by it was a fully functioning pier, though it would no longer stand up to the kind of heavy use. Now its position out over the water provides the Warrior's Brotherhood with a place to training and fight. A single shack sits at the beginning of the pier but the construct is otherwise completely bare.
The home of the Warriors in Elexia this is where one comes if they want to participate in or watch a warrior's challenge. It is also in this place that outsiders and warriors alike can receive training in elements of fighter's techniques without the underpinning necessary for true understanding.
The pier seemed completely abandoned as she approached, but it became evident rather quickly that this was not the case. Floating in the relatively still waters next to the pier was a crimson scaled Yesil Saaur.
**Arl smiles as she turns toward the Saaur**
Yes, brother. I’m trying to find anyone who knows of the former member Tomas Babbot. I might be fighting him in the near future. I only know that he was disgraced. Who was he? Who is he now?
Kadri- I remember the man. Very sour personality, never showed proper respect. Can't say what he's like now but when he was among us he was a rotten cheat.
Kadri sunk under the water head first, and in one fluid motion he flipped over and climbed up onto the surface of the pier.
Arl - I only know his current employer claims he is stealing from them, and they desire an intervention tonight. Did he solely rely on tricks or was he an otherwise talented fighter?
Note - If they don't desire the intervention tonight, Arl says something correct.
The sight of the waters put Alacritas at unease. His homeland was months and miles away, but still he felt as though it was right across the horizon. Too near.
His gold has been running low. What hasn't been spent on lodgings and food was wasted away in vain attempts of gambling. Down to a couple hundred, he needed to find a permanent sustenance. Sailors and showmen had told him that the Abandoned Pier is the place to go. The warriors will have work for him, or at least provide him with a bed if nothing more. His hand brushed against the hilt of Falcon's Fury as he crossed the pier, searching for the saaur in charge.
Kadri- Excellent. I can give you an induction, but you'll need to travel to the Crag Colosseum in the near future to really cement things.
Do you intend to avoid more complicated magic and instead focus on discipline and strength? Do you swear to show respect to your Brothers and Sisters? Do you vow to uphold our principles and way of life?
Alacritas got the distinct impression Kadri was paraphrasing something more official.
Balancing on one hand, Kadri fished a lump of bronze, shaped like a fist out from somewhere and tossed it to Alacritas.
Kadri- Temporary sigil, marks your intent until you can get to Ash. If you have the guild tithe I could start your training. Well, I might be able to at least, depends what sort of training you wanted.
Kadri finally dropped down onto the surface of the pier, cracking his neck as he stood straight. He took the coins and dropped them into the water behind him.
Kadri- So, do you know what kind of training you're after or could you use a little guidance in that department?
Kadri- Well, there are twelve schools of training that the Brotherhood offers...
Kadri settles into a fairly lengthy explanation that diverts on a tangent on the topic of kindirin animal styles, jakari combat styles and saaurian hunting practices, but eventually describes the basic idea behind each of the twelve art-aligned warrior's techniques.
Most of the information was wasted on Alacritas, who's attention had returned to the sea. He did at some point hear mention of flight, and the word triggered something in the back of his mind. He was Alacritas Peregrine, his sword the Falcon's Fury. There was but one choice for him. "Aerobics. I mean, aerialism. The flying sparrer."

Kadri paused and gave Arl a stern look.
Kadri- This is not the kind of information I would normally divulge about our members, of course.
Arl – Sorry, I understand. Thank you for the information.
Arl gives a polite nod before leaving
Arl – May the day be good to you.
