Bleu made her way to the Drunken Ass. Pleased that the proprietor was human, she ordered a drink and watched the crowd. She saw a strange man with wings enter after her with an interesting mask. When he got a drink she flagged him over. "So what kind of mask is that?" Illium replied, "Oh this? I won this in the lottery. Lets you mimic other races. Not much use to me, I have no need to be something I'm not." Concealing her excitement, Bleu then showed him her needle. "This was my prize. It can make your flesh heal and any garments you sew with it become as tough as leather. Not much use to me, but I would trade you for that mask. It would be helpful the next time I put on a performance. What do you say?" After some consideration, Illium decided this would aid him in his keeping of the peace more than deception and agreed. They then went their separate ways.
Vivian perked up and tried to catch Illium before he left.
Vivian- Did I hear you just traded for a magic needle? I'd be happy to offer my services as a tailor. And if you ever want to sell it, I'm sure I could make use of it.
Illium turned to the seemingly excited man. "Well, this needle seems like it could be of use to me. What do you have to offer? Perhaps we could work out some kind of arrangement." He said in a casual tone.
Vivian- Well, as I said, I am a skilled tailor. If you have any work you need doing, including proper uses of that needle, I can help you. I'd be happy to offer my services at cost in exchange for the needle, or if you'd prefer I can offer some gold for it.
"I would be interested in both perhaps. How much would you offer for the needle and a continuing discount with you? And how much to just buy it?" He said with a casual smile on his face.
Vivian- With a continuing discount I'd offer 50 gold. I'm afraid I couldn't make a fair offer of just gold at the moment, I only have 90 gold available at the moment.
After pondering for a bit, "I'll take the gold and discount. Never know when a good tailor will come in handy, and with this needle perhaps you could even generate the clients to bolster yourself in this city!" After a small laugh and a ponderous moment, "Do you have anything you could make for me that I could proudly wear as a sort of advertisement for you work?"
Vivian cast an appraising eye over Illium, rubbing his chin for a moment before answering.
Vivian- With those wings, I can't help but think a white silk jacket would be rather striking. I can use the needle to stiffen the material to provide you with protection and the openings for your wings will make it clear the work is customised specifically to you.
"Deal. Can we begin now?" He said a little excited to get this new suit. He handed 8 gold back to Vivian and pocketed the rest while also handing over the needle.
Vivian took some measurements and quickly set to work.
Illium's jacket was made from a brilliant white silk, trimmed with an equally sheer cotton thread. It was a long sleeved, waist length affair with a single row of black buttons. It possessed a sharp, angular collar and flared outwards at the bottom, giving the illusion of upward movement. The back had two perfectly hemmed slits through which Illium's wings fit comfortably. Due to the use of the bloodstone needle, it had remarkable strength, and also held its shape better than silk normally would.
"Now that is one swanky jacket. I look forward to more business with you. Have a good day!" He said and smiled. He then began to head out of the tavern.
When the group walked in the bar was bustling with activity. There were several groups of people in different areas of the bar, none of which wore any sort of markings to indicate them as part of a specific group. Fenton looked around, if one looked close they would see his hands shaking. "I don't recognize any of the men out here." He said, sounding disappointed.
**Talasia walked in, surveying the room closely while trying to look casual, painfully aware of her less than appropriate uniform at the moment. Virgis wasn't behind the bar at the moment, an older gentleman, presumably some relation, having relieved him for the moment.**

The man looked like he was about to tell them to buzz off, but after turning to see the alluring appearance of Talasia he seemed to have changed his mind. "Yeah, there's a group of guys that come in here every once in a while bragging about him... They're actually in one of the reserve rooms right now" He nodded to a door off to the side. "I never liked those guys anyway, always causing trouble."

The bartender looked at him like he had grown a second head. "Yeah, I would recommend you find a less painful way to get yourselves killed. The only reason we don't ban those guys from the bar is because they would cause more damage on the way out than it would be worth."
**The door opened under the force of her knock and she heard the sound of men singing a drinking song inside.**
