Wayland - Well, I'm sparing you the cost of materials and time spent obtaining them, seeing as you will be the one to either buy or find them and then you'll have to find me. After those costs are gone, all I can honestly charge for is the worth of my work. And I'm certain that you'll pay me the amount that you truly think my work is worth.

Danny - "Deal!"

**She thrust out a hand.**

**Palasis listed the arbiter batons to Golan, the turned to Wayland and welcomed him to the team.**

"Who would I speak to in order to join? I did plan to eventually become a Mage, of... The Body arts..."

Golan tries not to look shifty as he lies through his teeth.

Palasis - I can help you there, 25 gold and your oath of allegiance and you will receive for sigil, dagger, and baton. You;d have to get rid of that sword though, of course.

Gamble - "I don't supposed there's any way the Guild would be willing to loan out an..."

**The man thought through the daggers again.**

Gamble - "...Earth Dagger to help bring down a rampaging murderer? I'd be willing to leave collateral?"

"Sounds reasonable." Golan turned to Danny and Wayland. "Either of you two want an iron sword?"

Keeping the offer open, Golan forked over 25 gold to Palasis with haste.

**Danny perked up a bit.**

Danny - "I mean, if you're just going to throw it away..."

**Golan received his items in return.**

Palasis - That is against policy. See all those mage daggers.

**He points to a case with assorted daggers thats visible in the back of one of the wagons being loaded for the rescue group.**

Palasis - Those are exclusive to mages, and not allowed to just be handed out. Sure there are lots of them, and sure one probably wouldn;t be missed if it went missing for a good while, during which it could probably be used and anonymously returned. But as I said, against guild policy. Now I am just going to walk over there to talk my men and not looking in this direction for awhile. Good luck.

Gamble - "...If we don't get killed tonight, the three of us are definitely partying."

**The man sauntered over to the cart and carefully palmed an Earth Dagger.**

"Wait, there's one other thing we need. Bait. ... There HAS to be someone here who can cast Tag, and has nothing better to do today."

Wayland took Dany's hand and shook it, being surprisingly gentle.

Wayland - Aye, it's a deal. Now, if you already happen to have an idea of what you might want smithed, I can suggest what you may want to look for in materials.

Wayland then turned to Palasis.

Wayland - So when is it planned for us to leave?

Palasis - Very shortly.

Tomorrow probably, giving a person or two time to make a character to get in on this

**Danny nodded, belting Golan's sword to her side.

Meamwhile, Gamble considered that.**

Gamble - "Good point. And I have just the bait in mind...come on."

**With that, they left. Hopefully not to die.**

Dirk Dupin joined Wayland and Danny, after being directed where to go by at least three mages.

"You are the bodyguard reinforcements, yes? I am here to join you."

Palasis - Excellent, we are just about to leave.

**Palasis motioned for Danny, Stoz, Dirk and Wayland to join him in a carriage at the back of a line of five of them, the others being boarded by assorted armed men.**

**The girl headed for the carriage, fiddling with the new sword strapped to her side.**

Wayland also headed toward the carriage, already having all of things he thought necessary for the job.

Dirk followed. "Danny? Danny! Fancy meeting you here!"

**The girl glanced over, then grinned as she noticed the detective.**

Dany - "Oh hey! It's...actually, I don't think anyone ever called you anything besides detective?"

"That's fine" Said the Detective. "So how have you been? Taking an interest in protecting children? Quite noble of you."

**The girl shrugged.**

Dany - "I guess so. It seems like the right thing to do."

"It does. I wonder why they need reinforcements. I suppose they just didn't bring enough people the first time?"

**Assuming Stoz joined, the wagons took of.**

Palasis - We thought we had, apparently the headmistress kept some information regarding one of the students secrets and a small army ambushed them trying to take one or more of the children.

Dany - "What sort of secret? Unless that's a secret."
