Assuming his compatriots did not object, Kherren began to lead the way.

**Eventually, they arrived at the mountain village of Ash and the famed Crag Colisseum. Kloirn glanced around, not seeming so impressed.**

Kloirn, TDoF - "FEH!"

Kherren- You here for the challenge of teaching, not to criticise architecture.

Kherren headed in through the large arched doorway that made up the public entrance to the Crag.

**Inside, the Crag was a busy as ever. Warriors milled here and there, going about their business. There appeared to be a lesson of sorts already going on, a kindir walking a group of children through several basic techniques. Off in one corner, a lone child seemed to be trying to something.

Kloirn glanced over the practicing children with utter disinterest.**

Kloirn, TDoF - "THESE FAT CHILDREN ARE YOUR SOLUTION? EVEN TELLING THEM ABOUT MY UNSTOPPABLE TECHNIQUES WOULD SURELY BE THEIR DOOM!"

Kherren- So you are doomed to failure, then?

Kloirn, TDoF - "IT IS THESE FAT CHILDREN WHO ARE FAILURES!"

Child - "H-hey..."

Kloirn, TDoF - "TEACHING THEM TO FIGHT IS NOT NEW, IT IS NOT EXCITING! ALL THAT WOULD DO IS CREATE MORE UNBEATABLE CHALLENGE MACHINES LIKE ME!"

Kherren- Then teach them something else.

Kloirn, TDoF - "FAH! ALL I SEE HERE ARE THOSE TRYING TO LEARN HOW TO FIGHT!"

Kherren- What else can you teach? We will find you suitable students.

**The lonely child seemed to be struggling to work his way through some sort of primer book.**

**The child looked up, face reddening with embarrassment and anger.**

Child - "H-hey! I can read! I...I just don't like it! It's hard and dumb."

**He rose up, moving to throw away his book, only to be stopped by Kloirn's massive hand.**

Kloirn, TDoF - "WHAT IS THIS, FAT CHILD?! ARE YOU SO QUICKLY ABANDONING YOUR CHALLENGE!"

**The child stared wide eyed as the towering garr lifted him up into the air higher than he would probably ever go again.**

Kloirn, TDoF - "DIG DEEP, FAT CHILD! DESTROY THE FACE OF READING OR IT SHALL DESTROY THE FACE OF YOU!"

**Oddly enough, this seemed to be working on the boy.**

Boy - "O-okay! I will! I'll do it!"

**The boy snatched up his book, returning to his task with far more gritted teeth and determination than was probably necessary.**

Kherren- ... ...how did that feel?

**The garr smashed his massive fist over his massive heart.**

Kloirn, TDoF - "I FEEL A GREAT POWER IN MY HEART! HAHA! I HAVE NOT FELT THIS WAY AFTER A CHALLENGE SINCE I STRANGLED THAT MANJOR! MORE!"

**He grabbed Kherren by the shoulders.**

Kloirn, TDoF - "SHOW ME ANOTHER OF LIFE'S MYSTERIES, TINY COUSIN!"

Kloirn, TDoF - "NO, I REQUIRE ANOTHER CHALLENGE! THIS FAT CHILD'S DISABILITIES WERE INDEED A MIGHTY FOE, BUT IF THERE IS TRULY MORE TO LIFE THEN I REQUIRE TO SEE MORE!"

Kherren- Can you cook? Make a meal that brings joy to the faces of those that eat it?

**Kloirn didn't seem to have the time at the moment to marry, procreate, and raise a child. Challenges were to be had.**

Kloirn, TDoF - "YES, I SHALL DESTROY HUNGER! BRING ME TO HUNGRY PEOPLE! THE HUNGRIEST PEOPLE!"

Kloirn, TDoF - "THEN TAKE ME TO THIS HELLHOLE!"
