Sing lustily and with good courage.
Be aware of singing as if you were half dead,
or half asleep:
but lift your voice with strength.
Be no more afraid of your voice now,
nor more ashamed of its being heard,
than when you sang the songs of Satan.
**Antoninus exited, passing an obscured nadrask on the way in.**

**Rhett lead the three companions around to an overrun part of Sylvan's southern walls that bordered the forest, covered in ivy where the plant life had grown close and not been kept back in the wild. After what seemed like the young deputy was just ambling around in the dark, he stopped, running his hand across the wall he pushed down, and suddenly there was a loud noise of hinges uncoiling and rusted levers moving. At the base of the wall Rhett opened a passageway that held stone steps leading down into the earth**
**As they descended below the Night City, Rhett lead them into a length of dank tunnel that was covered with yellow and green lichen, the rocks were glistening and slick with dampness and they could feel cool air from up ahead. The silent deputy went on for about five minutes like this, not saying a word, until they came to a gate of thick black iron bars, the center of which held a giant lock and silvered chain of some unknown material.**
Rhett - Right. This is as far as I go. The passageway is connected to the old tunnels from here, and there is a different entrance back at the Old Fort, but those are sealed off from the access tunnels. No one has been down here in ages, I'd wager, maybe longer. I don't know what you should expect, but we've pretty much tracked the bastard this far and know he's been using the tunnels, just not how. Take this, it will alert me when you are done, and I can come back to let you out. Good luck.

**Out again went Alec, bound for the forest city.**
