The cleared out stable seemed to have been lined with silks and an assortment of crystal chains. The only notable item in the area was a floor length silver mirror, roughly the size and shape of a door. Its frame was thin and pragmatic, though it was dotted with tiny amethysts and opals. The blackguard noted as Larys approached the mirror that it cast no reflection of him.
Glancing into the mirror the figure that looked back was both familiar and foreign. She had Aster's clear green eyes and silvery blonde hair, but her hair was cut short and shear, with no sign of a top knot. The figure in the mirror was clad in blue scales rather than red, and wore a cape over her back marked with a bird insignia.
Most unsettling of all was the tattoo on the neck, not a sanguine rose but a caged lily.
Larys- My niece, bless her, used this mirror to make herself a world where her parents never died. She has been in there for days with no food and I worry for her safety. However, I cannot follow her.
Larys- I would like to send at least a trio. I don't know what the fictional world she has created is like, it might be tempting for her to stay but still incredibly unsafe for others.
At this point Aster became aware of a large presence looming behind her.
**The looming presence likewise felt a smaller, eager presence hop into the stables behind it. This latter presence suddenly grew still after that, however.**
**Noting Kherren's reaction, Aster's grin turned into a full-fledged smile.**
Aster - Pleased to meet you. And yes, he has. Essentially, anyone who has a reflection can enter, I'm guessing a constructed world within the mirror itself, though I'm not quite sure how that's possible; where apparently Larys' niece has become entranced in a fantasy of her own design.
**About this time the third figure, having been momentarily distracted by just the cutest passing cat, turned back towards the others to discover she had completely missed the result of the looming prank! Well, she hadn't heard anything so maybe it had been a flop.**
Tanya - "What kind of fantasy?"
**... and she missed the chance to make a big introduction. Shoot. Maybe next time.**
Aster - The usual kind, a perfected one. So, a delusion where she's made it so her parents never met their deaths.
**At this point in the conversation, the young kindir waited for the new addition to make her own introduction, feeling the flow of topic took precedence.**
Larys- They were involved in an accident when she was young, carriage went wild and fell into a river. My brother and his wife drowned, Fora made it out alive.
Tanya's reflection was as off-putting as Astera's. The young woman Tanya saw was glad in rich purples, accented with hints of red, all around the figure a thin veil of dark ash swirled as if it were under her control. A flash of amber from under the girl's dark hood gave Tanya the feeling that her reflected self was a predator.
To live is to hope, and while we breathe, we hope and live.
To live is to hope, and while we breathe, we hope and live.
Larys stepped out of the way and gestured for the kindir to step in front of the glass.
To live is to hope, and while we breathe, we hope and live.

To live is to hope, and while we breathe, we hope and live.
To live is to hope, and while we breathe, we hope and live.
To live is to hope, and while we breathe, we hope and live.
Larys- Anyone who is willing and has a reflection.
To live is to hope, and while we breathe, we hope and live.
At this point Aster became aware of a large presence looming behind her.

**The kindirin woman indicated behind her with a nod.**
To live is to hope, and while we breathe, we hope and live.
Leaning slightly round Aster, Kherren looked into the mirror. The garr's reflection was shorter than him and had glowing yellow eyes.
**Astera moved out of Kherren's way, smirking ever so slightly.**
To live is to hope, and while we breathe, we hope and live.
Kherren- Kherren. Did he explain the mirror yet?
Aster - Pleased to meet you. And yes, he has. Essentially, anyone who has a reflection can enter, I'm guessing a constructed world within the mirror itself, though I'm not quite sure how that's possible; where apparently Larys' niece has become entranced in a fantasy of her own design.

**She walks towards the others, taking a curious glance into the mirror in the process. Would they be able to see people too?**
