[Epicrin] Hearth of Steel Armorists

**At the end of The Thoroughfare, just before it empties into the city square and Bonfire Park, sits a large squat building of finely carved and fitted stone, decorated with intricate metalwork and stained glass windows of crimson and indigo. Out in the street above the iron banded door hangs a forged steel heart the size size of a watermelon within which burns a lantern. This is the Hearth of Steel Armorists.

Inside a vast assortment of finely crafted weaponry and armor hangs from the walls and sits on display in various cases. At least one of shops three workers is usually on hand to help customers in the shop area while the others come and go to attached forge.

The shop's owner is Korsin Pater, once one of the greatest smiths the Eastern World has ever known. When a tragic accident cost him his sight he continued to work, adapting to his blindness and still creating fine products. He is a burly old man, his well tanned skin covered in scars and burns. The worst of his scars wraps across where his eyes once were and into the left side of his white crewcut hair.

Korsin's two apprentices help him forge and run the shop. Mulciber Cano is a giant of a man with a bushy black beard and sweet temperment while Kwaar is a short tempered greel with silver skin who is eager to prove himself.**

A man dressed in blacks and greys entered the Hearth, looking over the arrayed weapons before selecting an iron cudgel. Slipping the weapon behind his back, the figure dropped a coin purse containing thirty gold on the counter before heading back out the door.

Arl, being directed to the Armorists by a most helpful man in fullplate, enters the shop.

Arl - I heard you might be interested in buying an amethyst imbued ironwood staff?

Since pawnshop isn't up, will allow pawning of this item here for now.

Staff base = 14. X3.5 for Ironwood = 50. +200 for Imbue=250.

x.75 pawn price drop = 180 Gold

Arl happily takes the deal after pawning her bronze machete as well, thanks the armorists, and dashes off.

After Docs conversation with colt he walks in to the shop, "Would you be willing to buy a Amathist infused iron short sword?" Doc politely said

**Doc gets 180 gold, same as Arl.**

"Thankie sai!" He said now walking out the door

Assuming the first Armorer was referring to this one, Golan and Gamble arrived at the Hearth of Steel, looking for the blind Armorer who did custom work.

**A large blind man sat behind the counter, polishing swords that a greel was bringing out to him and taking from him once done. The sound of a hammer echoed from the back.**

**Gamble took his hat off, then put it back on when he remembered the man was blind. Then he took it back off, because he wasn't exacty sure how the man's sight entered into the picture.**

Gamble - "Hey, ah, good afternoon sir? I'm Gamble and this is Golan; we're trying to track a man with a very distinctive suit of armor and thought you might be able to help us."

Korsin - I am as likely to be able to as anyone, supposing you can describe it well enough.

"It was custom fitted to a large man, Orange tinted, wound up with half the helmet burned, though I don't suppose it was made that way. It also had a Machinist blade attached to the right gauntlet, and fit the man from head to toe."

Gamble - "He's the one who recently killed a peacekeeper at the tavern."

Korsin - The metal was orange you said?

Gamble - "Yeah, orange. His hilt was orange too?"

"Is .... There a certain metal that has been described to you as being Orange? ...."

Golan suddenly became aware of the idiocy of asking a blind man what color some armor was, but there you go.

Gamble - "He wasn't born blind Golan."

"Yeah but how do we know he ever saw Deathcloak's armor at all?"

Gamble - "Look he sounds like he knows something okay?!

Korsin - Hey! Mulciber! Your the metalluruitzits..

Kwaar - Metallurgist.

Korsin - Whatever. Isn't there some orange alloy thats been around, magic stuff, rare?!

**The hammering stopped and a massive man stepped out of the back.**

Mulciber - Ayuh. Remember hearing about it some years ago, think it was called Carbonomniadionium or something. Was going to be a big deal when a smith in Sylvan created it. Then his forge burned down...or blew up. Whatever happened the smith, the forge and all samples of the metal were gone. Shame though, that stuff was supposed to have some serious mojo from what I was told, missed my chance to see if by days.

Gamble - "Yeah....yeah, that sounds about right. So, here's the long and short: This guy is basically running around in a big suit of this stuff? Murdering people? So, um...any advice? Maybe to gum up his armor? Rust up?...Smudge up? I am seriously terrified of this guy."

Golan rubbed his smooth chin in deep thought.

Gamble - "Any chance you might know more about this carbon-stuff? What sort of mojo are we talking about?"

Mulciber - Amplification. Not only of enchantments on it but of its wielder too. Stronger, faster, more skilled. Made them more of whatever they were. Maybe it was best it was destroyed.
