Laroc - "Try again. If I'm doing this I either need something concrete or I need to know now. After all, by the time I get done here and check it out, you'll be beyond my reach."
Faelan described a place in the warrens opposite a bakery, with a blue door and an expansive basement. Laroc was confident he would be able to find it easily.
Laroc - "Okay. Want to give me some details? I've always found it's easier to really twist the dagger when the victim doesn't even know they're being stabbed."
Laroc - "Who were the victims, how'd you get them to take the potions and why, so on so forth. Whatever you think might still be fresh in their minds."
Laroc - "Okay, sure. Pound sand, then."
Sgt Boros- Can't leave the prisoner unattended in the open.
Laroc - "Okay. Now pound sand."
**He shut the door, turning back to his client.**
Karn- So, why are you here?
**He slipped into the other chair.**
Laroc - "And yourself? Frame up? Wrong place at the wrong time? Just trying to get your kids back?"
**The atarin leaned back, thinking it over. Eventually a slow smile crossed his face.**
Laroc - "Okay. I'm in. But making the families suffer is extra."
Karn- I have a little store in the warrens, do well and I'll tell you how to find it.
