Dr. Smalls was about to speak to Golan when the voice grabs his attention. Dr. Smalls - I am unfamiliar with your voice, mysterious man hiding nearby. May we speak face to face?

**A relatively svelte and intelligent looking nadrask, bespectacled and tatooed, stepped out of the shadow, hands raised.**
Ryot - No harm meant, dear friends, I have been on your backtrail for some time, and with one of your number wishing to depart, I felt I should make myself be known, an adequate replacement I would hope. Afterall...
**Ryot then spouted a Witty Maxim that was actually goobletygook but seemed charming, intelligent and quite humorous.**

There are some chuckles among the group at the witty comment. Dr. Smalls - Ah yes, I recall seeing you through the monocle - that is to say the object I was using to keep track of who wandered by the initial camp. Changed your mind I take it?
Ryot - I prefer using my mind than punishing my body. Rather than enduring your trials I hoped to follow you and...make myself known when it was most opportune. Perhaps make myself useful. I assumed a man seeking a book of great knowledge would appreciate guile more than recklessness.

Olus gave the newcomer a welcoming smile before turning back to Dr. Smalls "The greel agreed to wait four hours before revealing to the rest of his group that he has met with us. We learned that they have a group of ten as well, including someone named KC and the "boss" of the group apparently had him on the lookout for you." He raised an eyebrow curiously at the Dr. "We should take advantage of our lead... That little greel is more than he appears."
"They also have access to a big mechanic device possibly harmful to the jungle. And welcome Ryot! I also prefer to use mind over body in most situations." Laz said
Laghairt follows the path of disturbed leaves he thinks Kage is leaving behind, while making sure to still keep an eye out for traps intended for those dodging traps.
The path that Laghairt was following was not Kage's, mainly because he can't see or hear Kage due to Swathe and his Stealth training. Luckily, the path was in the right direction and not too far from where Kage actually was.
Although Laghairt was doing his best to move fast while making little sound, it is becoming more difficult for the massive Ogofta to avoid loud leaf litter while keeping away from the traps throughout the area.
Sneaky Group Laghairt does indeed make a good bit of noise. At least he manages to avoid the worst of the traps. The group is maybe 15 minutes away from the entrance now.

Dr. Small's Group
Dr. Smalls - KC.. is that...
Mr. Plum - The man whose scars looked like he brawled with rabid bears as a small boy?
Dr. Smalls - ..I think so. I would guess Snives is the "boss" then.
Mr. Plum - Talking to him might be a possibility, but perhaps we should reach the entrance first?
"I'm of a mindset to avoid a confrontation and reach the entrance using what dwindling time we have to get started before the other group even knows we're about." Olus looked at Laz and the newcomer with a questioning look, although by his smile he obviously believed the two intellects would agree with him.
"Unless any other opportunities open up i would say that is the best coarse of action." Laz said "Are we and the other party using the same route eventually?"
Considering the level of noise he was already creating, Laghairt put more focus into avoiding traps and less into avoiding loud areas to run through. Now more focused, he started running faster toward the entrance.
Kage slipped in front of the crazy man and became visible as he saw him start to get louder. "Are you mad?! Now is not the time to start being loud. We are too close to reveal ourselves now!" He said in a harsh whisper. When He saw that the man would continue being sneaky they resumed their approach.
Laghairt - Sorry to say this, but if there are people already at the entrance, then they've already heard me coming before now. Besides, speed at this point is more important than our ability to remain unnoticed. More importantly, our words have probably garnered more attention than the sounds of leaf litter being moved through quickly.
Laghairt continued to move forward as he whispered, although he now focused on making less noise again.

Laghairt turned to face the inquisitor. He then revealed two important pieces of information that the two "sneaky cats" hadn't thought of with the quietest voice they had heard him use up to that point.
Laghairt - Hey you two listen. First off, we were NOT sent out to sneak to the entrance. Our job was to get there quickly and guard it. You two seem to have forgotten that fact. Second off, have either of you noticed Tratorious since we left. I'm pretty sure he split off from us almost immediately, but I decided to continue with my job. Now that that is settled, we need to get going before he does whatever it is he has planned, NOW.
The Ogofta started to run toward the entrance once more, still attempting to remain quite as he had attempted to do to appease Kage.
Not sure what the Ogofta was talking about, since their job was specifically to sneak to the entrance so as to avoid giving the other team a heads up that they had been beaten to the punch, and last Kage checked Traitorious was still following them quietly like he said he would. Just to be sure Kage checked again from the shadows as he let the foolhardy Ogofta take the lead. He also gave Allona an approving nod.
Small's Group The group sets off towards the entrance, although they are a good 35 minutes behind the first group. Dr. Smalls does indeed catch Ryot up on what has been going on. They also see the bear with the broken leg as they walk (the birds have left, and all that remains of the badger is a small hard-to-see bit of blood) followed by the watering hole with a pile of berries near it.
Sneaky Contention Group
Kage finds Tratorius, although the latter was quite a bit back. Assuming he had kept moving forward when the group stopped to argue... well, it was unusually far back.
Laghairt hears a voice calling out from in front of him, presumably from the entrance.
???? - It's about time you two got here! How long does it take to get some food?!
The group hears another sound, a more muffled one, in front of them and far to the left. The first voice could have been calling out to the other sound... but it could have been calling out to the group as well. Or both.
Olus looks concerned at the sight of the bear suffering, but realizes their need for urgency and continues on. He quietly but immediately calls Pharaoh back with a whisper when he starts for the pile of berries. "Either those belong to someone else or they were set to ensnare us."
