Sing lustily and with good courage.
Be aware of singing as if you were half dead,
or half asleep:
but lift your voice with strength.
Be no more afraid of your voice now,
nor more ashamed of its being heard,
than when you sang the songs of Satan.
**The handsome older woman released a small, very warm chuckle like oozing honey from her delicate and fair throat, as she in turn nodded as they each finished their reasoning. A glint in her crystalline eyes told them she was aware of it all.**
Gaëlle - Perhaps you misunderstood my meaning. Your reasons are your own, however the reason as to what you'll be doing for me, no one seems to have actually considered that? What if I asked you to murder the Arc Chancelier himself?
Talbot - You can ask us to do anything you'd like, but that doesn't mean we will or have to do it. Not that that means I wouldn't do something along those lines for the right reward and with the right people.

**Gaëbrielle was pleasantly amused by their answers. After dabbing her mouth with a cloth from her little table, she stood and walked over to the mantel of the hearth and tapped the wood gently. A cabinet began to materialize where she had knocked, made of a rich black wood that was undoubtedly Scionic Elder, it was deeply carved with a tableau of a circular orb, which contained another circle within it, each growing progressively smaller than the last, surrounding these were a smaller cycle of differently shaped orbs, each representing the time of day or night. Gaëlle pulled from the cabinet a strange clay urn. Taking a pinch of grainy sand from within, she threw it into the fire, which roared fiercely and turned a lurid yellow, its flames reaching up through the shoot.**

He was pointed over to a table where a rather short man could be seen drinking from a tankard that was near half his height. The Dwarf seemed to have heard his own name and had started waving Corvus over.
The drink was bitter throughout but ended on a slightly sweet note.
Barrow - As for pay, besides what I've hopefully still got stored away at my tavern, I can promise you 100 gold. And I'm sure that there'll be enough of a challenge in the village.
Barrow reached his own surprisingly large hand out to shake Corvus's. The old Dwarf's grip could probably crush gem stones.
Barrow - Well our small village is mostly filled with the older folk like myself with a few family's that are just starting off. You know with couple of wee babies. Recently a group, at least twenty strong, of loudmouthed punks invaded. They haven't hurt anyone yet but it's obvious they'd be able to. Most of the older folk in the village have been in battle before, but we would rather not have anymore blood on our hands. That's why we retired. And the only young men in our village have their own families to worry about. That's why I'm here gathering folks that don't mind dirtying their own hands.
Come on and check it out. You know you want to.

Corvus - I'm Corvus Raven, word is you need people with a knack for violence."

The Dwarf motioned at the barkeeper and soon a mug with a brackish looking liquid was presented to Corvus.
Come on and check it out. You know you want to.
Corvus - "Well the booze doesn't hurt your case. As long as there is good pay involved and a good challenge, I'd love to help."
He took a short pull off the mug, testing the brew.
