Juris and Alexis returned to the Old Fort, Boulder walking beside them.
Juris - Here you are sir. Boulder here has decided it would be best to take care of the matter of his bounty and agreed to be brought in, for the most part, peacefully.
**Olo, Damek, and a healed Arl arrive at the scene. The girl dashes in first, quickly healing Cee before moving up to Gret with the others.**
Arl - "We have Garrote's dismembered corpse, although I think he was a pawn for something much bigger. Let me write down a full report or what happened with him-"
**Arl begins doing just that as Cee reads over her shoulder**
Gret - "Thank Gods. I'm really tired of cleaning up that bastard's messes. I'll be sure to keep an eye out for anyone committing similar crimes though."
Arl - "He had, and was probably a member of, an army of the dead. He had a portal or something to some crazy dimension that was mysteriously gone when we returned. There really should be an investigation into this."
Cee - "Maybe we should bring him back to life to get some answers? Use the sash."
**Arl turns an incredulous eye to the bird.**
Arl - "What?! Why would we-"
Cee - "It could save a lot of people later! And it does mysterious things after that and how much do YOU trust the elven deities?"
**Arl fingers the sash**
Arl - "I think I could do more good with this than revive a serial killer that might not know anything about who was pulling his strings."
"I say there is no need to use your sash. The guy was clearly not normal. I mean his blood was a black ooze. He was probably dead for quite some time and the ooze was just keeping his body functional." Olo said as he grabbed the 333 gold for his and Damek's portion. When he tried to give Damek his share, Damek just turned away. Not questioning the generosity, Olo kept it all. He waved to Arl and left with whatever remains of Garrote he could keep.
Arl - "Although it might still work, I don't want to do it."
**She turns back to Gret**
Arl - "If any new information on this does come up, could you have me informed through the peacekeepers? I'd really appreciate it."
**Arl gives a short, respectful bow and takes her leave along with 167 gold and the dagger Olo and Damek let her keep for pawning - the weapon nets a 2g profit after subtracting the cost of her healing/bribing costs.**
Alexis soon a young man wearing the same Peackeeper's sigil as herself. He moved to where Gret stood and introduced himself.
Juris - Ah, hello sir. I'm Juris Aiolos, I've heard that there is a Garr wanted for disorderly conduct. I'd like to help, if I may?
