**A n old network of sewer and water canals, the tunnels have long ago fallen into disuse. Once used by the royale court to secretly move prisoners under cover and without notice, they are now secretly used by the Council of Lords for much the same purpose, as the only known entrance is located and under the guard of the Old Fort. Stonework that has frosted over with lichen and moss, and stained with water erosion, the system is a dank and wet labyrinth that one could very easily lose their way in.
The trio entered the tunnels, looking about to see what was down here from the entrance they used. Assuming it was dark, Olo pulled out a dagger and enchanted it with a ruby imbue to use as a torch. "That really is a handy skill bro." He said admiring the new powers. "Well, this place looks like will probably get lost easily...Damek would you mark our trail so we can get out later?"
After a small smile, Olo said, "Thank you Damek. And as for having a group, possibly. But to get enough people to figure their way through here without revealing it would be quite the feat. Be ready for everything, but we can't make any conclusions yet. Anybody got a particular direction they would like to go?"
Nervada to Olo - Well, we gonna be immortal right? Gotta have something to do when everything's too peaceful. Like sing about how awesome fighting is! We sell-swords should promote the business, right?
OtN - *Chuckle* I doubt we will reach the time when we will actually find enough peace to be bored. But we could definitely start a band. Although thinking on this, we don't really know much about what motivates Damek...aside from power and the desire to kill basically everyone from where he came from...do we care?
**The tunnel, which was atypically filled with ample lighting, continued on straight for a time, beginning to turn into a bit of a decline, if the group were able to notice at all. There was noise up ahead of them, and it distinctly sounded like rushing water.**
Damek watched the brothers as they walked. He hated telepathy. And all mental magic, really. He scowled, knowing more conversations went on than he heard. He wasn't jealous, of course. Still pausing to mark their trail every once in a while, Damek spoke: "This is boring. Compared to the last job." He chose to ignore Nervada.
Really zing how rude he was being, Olo turned to Damek, "Sorry about that. Keeps slipping my mind that you aren't in the link yet. This job should get interesting hopefully falter than the last job. We were talking about music, and possibly making a band. Then we realized we have no idea how you feel about music and since we will all be immortal, it kinda matters. Then we also realized we know very little about your future goals and motivations. Do you have anything to say about any of that? He then said to his brother, "I have no idea what they drink. Whatever it is it won't be us *chuckle*."
"Immortal. Right." Damek mumbled. They had previously talked about the power the brothers planned to aquire which was part of how they got Damek's attention. Immortality however still seemed far off. "What the hell is a band?" he asked to avoid discussing his personal goals.
**The group came to an interesting juncture, the tunnel they were in was rapidly changing from actual stonework to actual bedrock. There were two directions for them to head, the access tunnel looked like it continued on into a left juncture and back towards the city, the rocks there were still wet, but the stonework was man-made; the right juncture was steeper and continued down into the darker underground, it was eroded and slick from years of erosion, and the water was louder in this direction.**
"If I were a super creature preying on people, this would be a great base entrance and exit. Let's head deeper, shall we?" With that Olo started flying with the others, ready to catch them if one should slip.
" There are no people in Doutaini. Thus no bands. Wolves there have little time for anything except murdering each other. Strictly for selfish purposes, I assure you." Damek said in response to Olo before they reached the junction. Doutaini was supposed to be the peak of civilization for wolves, according to its inhabitants. He waited for the brothers to chose a direction. Well, for Olo to choose. Damek tried to let them do all the hard work. He was here to kill **** when needed. He continued to mark their trail and mumbled "Show off" at Olo for using his higher magic.
**And so further down the group descended, their path twisting as they went. The passageway seemed to have been caused by erosion, the rock here was sandy and sleek, they were starting to notice stalactite formations as they went, the beginnings of an underground cave system it seemed, the noise of the rushing water was getting louder now. After a short while, they came into a massive chamber, the sound they'd heard was a strong waterfall underground flowing into wide meandering river, that was stretching the length of the cave and further into darkness that they couldn't see the other side.**
