**The old abandon library of Epicrin. It is quite an expansive building, that in the rush for innovation and the future that is the current mood of Epicrin life, the library was abandoned for better or worse. A handsome structure that has turned a bit shabby, it covers a large lot of property in the Back Quarter of the city, and the Initiates quickly made this their seat of power here in Epicrin, on the advice of the city archivist. Off of the repository main floor are stairs leading to the kitchens and further down the basement. Numerous private study rooms dotted around the Grand Hall of Erudition, as it's known, are occupied by visiting Prelates engrossed in some tome or other, and this is also the central intelligence hub in which the Initiates run coded messages between their locations; a very large rookery tower dominates the grounds proper. The second story of the building is used to room and board any members of the guild staying within the city, fully furnished living quarters and proper baths and such afford any and all luxuries. The third tier is the office and living quarters of the High Priestess, High Lady Rime. Her office is a large circular chamber with high-arched windows over looking the entire grounds, and affording a great view of the rest of the city. It is decorated with a number of odds and ends from around Bakara: exotic furs from Vinterheim, vases of porcelain from beyond the Eastern Sea, Sylvan draperies, Elexian carpets, and Epicrin gadgets, and books of varying subjects and degree: the great Elven books of philosophy and discourse, machinists guides to clockworks and contraptions, Atarin trading accounts, Modern Guilds and Societies: And Their Formations, the Histories and Annals of the Eastern Lands, books of love, books of poetry, and many modern books you can think of, and some books so old and well-worn their bindings have lost all meaning. At the very center of this room, and the very center of the building itself, is the ever present Lidless Eye: this is a Palace of Secrets and nothing is quite what it seems.**
Mendeli took refuge from the night in one of the available rooms meant for members of the church. He made sure to not have the pendant on him when he went to bed.
Mendeli didn't concern himself with how or what all she knew about Koyl. He only cared that now he'd have to find a way to bring the boy to her. He didn't return to sleeping for the rest of the night and left his room in the morning, the pendant in his pocket.
Mendeli found after his therapy that he could not remember exactly how the pendant functioned, only that it had kept Koyl awake. He earned himself another 2 points.
To live is to hope, and while we breathe, we hope and live.
Come on and check it out. You know you want to.

Voice- Bring him in, Corpse.

Lich - I guess the first thing we should do is introduce you to my superior. I don't want the High Lady to get upset. Do you mind meeting her Koyl?
Come on and check it out. You know you want to.
As soon as Koyl was introduced, Lich found himself dismissed with a hand wave.
