"Squeak. Squeeeak squeak." If anyone could understand Saproling, it seemed much like Sprout was saying something to the effect of "shut the hell up before you get blasted."
And yes, no incantatrix for you. Or anyone. That class makes puppies cry. Mostly because they are the former Big Bads who have been Baleful Polymorphed into said puppies. By you. Because you're an incantatrix.

This is Deraxas we're talking about.
Remember, the girl that just killed an aspect of herself before literally consuming her?
Yeah, I don't see her handling a pissing match in any way other than a duel.

I suppose it's true. Though the logistics implied in a human/Great Wyrm Prismatic Dragon pairing makes me shudder.
...Something tells me that even should all arcane casters in the world unite, that the Grease spell would NOT be sufficient.
"Here." Savra says as she pulls a coin from her trousers. She tosses it into the air, not even caring if Deraxas can catch it. "That is a sign of your membership. Unlike the lesser Houses, that actually has some worth."

Much later, as it's beginning to get dark, Aggron finds himself in the easterly part of Ravnica. Without realizing it, he's stooped so that his 'hands' almost reach the ground, and he's occasionally pushing off with them. His eyes are darting from place to place, watching everywhere. This is a bigger city than I'd realized. I'd forgotten how hard it is to find your way in a new place. I think I got too used to knowing the layout of Estark...
He's finally found the runoff canal, though, and he's beginning to look around its area for anything reminiscent of the Houses he'd seen in Estark. I don't even really know what I'm looking for! Why didn't I make that guard be specific?
OOC: Do I need to I re-send my quest specifications, or should I just stop being so cursed impatient and wait for someone to get to this quest?
Cautiously, Aggron begins to look for new areas in the undercity. He's searching, not for Svogthos, but for another district far away from his guildhall but still in Golgari territory. He's grown tired of being homeless, and he wants a place to live, and he intends to create one whether Savra likes it or not.
Aggron soon found himself wondering in the familiar area he had met Naba. All around are abandoned buildings claimed by the moss of the Golgari Swarm. Where first he had felt the presence of eyes upon him, now he felt the silence of those avoiding him.
Everywhere he looked he saw a potential area to claim as his own. There to his left was the rubble from a fallen building overgrown with moss, it appeared like a natural cave despite the remnants of the building it had once been. Over to his right was a Colosseum like building with arched doorways held up by pillars covered in moss.
As far as he could see, any place could be claimed as his own with no one to oppose him.
Aggron finds a place that looks especially cavelike and walks into it. At first the darkness seems deep and suffocating, and Aggron begins to create green mana for light--but then he remembers an old trick he'd learned long ago as a new mage in a dungeon. The green glow around his hand dissipates, and his eyes begin to glow instead, in a dim purplish shade. The cave snaps into focus, and Aggron begins walking in carefully, looking for signs of other possible inhabitants--and trying to get a good idea of the layout.
The surge of black mana into Aggron's eyes quickly gives an eerie view of the dark cave. Looking around he sees no immediate signs of inhabitants other than small wild life scurrying about.
Moving deeper into the cave, he finds a split in the path. Both looked as though nothing had trodden there before.
Aggron quickly comes across a dead in within forty steps. All appearances in this tunnel reveal that the rubble from above probably collapsed this tunnel.
Aggron barely took ten steps before the path jerked to the right at a steep angle into a naturally hollowed out space. He quickly noticed that he could stretch his full body length and still have some space before touching the walls.
Rising from his stretching, Aggron took a closer look around the room looking for any exits. A moment of turning in place while examining the room confirmed for him that there was in fact only one way into the room, the way he had come.
Aggron walked through the whole cave one more time, making sure of everything. Then he set down to some serious home renovation.
It took him several days to work out all the magic he needed and find some appropriately sized chunks of masonry, but eventually the place was outfitted to his satisfaction. He 'encouraged' the moss inside the cave, making the entire floor of the chamber into one big, softer-than-bare-stone mat. He also found some kind of free-hanging plant that didn't really need light, and he magically grew a curtain of it in the right fork of the cave, so that his chamber was both shielded from sunlight and hidden from view. He grew more of it along the wall, so that even though he knew where the chamber was, he could only really find it by probing along the mass of plants.
Inside the chamber, aside from the moss floor, Aggron hollowed out a small space in one of the walls. At first he was intending to use it to store some of his gems, but as he looked through them, he realized he needed to hold onto them for the time being. Still, he cleaned out the little hole and put the necessary magic on it so he could block and conceal it, so if he ever did need to hide anything in there, he could.
As a last and perhaps most important layer of protection, Aggron carved some of the masonry he'd found into a large boulder that he could use to block the cave entrance. Once it was fitting to his satisfaction, he set a spell in place such that he could grow moss quickly over the boulder--it would shrivel away when he wanted to move it, but it would provide camouflage otherwise. It was tricky to make that spell and set it in place, and it required some really intricate work with green magic that challenged Aggron more than a little, but when it was finally finished he was happy with it and felt a little better connected with his green side--and the whole cave was effectively invisible.
But, finally, he was finished and a little tired of staying in that one area of Golgari territory, and so he headed back into Ravnica to do some more exploring.
Your potential to do well here, however, is suspect at best."

Deraxas, Dark Maiden of Shimia,, still oddly obsessed with a mindmage.
OCC: Someone just got a Golgari Signet.
"Thank you. I have a question. Am I to live here, in Ravnica, or in Estark? I do not know how things are done."
She looks loathe to even ask, due to Savra's poor attitude, but she needs to find out somehow. Plus, the zombie creeped her out in a big way.
Undead are one thing, but undead you knew in life... no, that is something that should be avoided.

"I-"
"SQUEAK."
"I will take my leave."
"Squeak."
Deraxas turns on her heel and walks out without another word, hands curled into fists at her sides.
Under her breath, a litany in the Lorwyn dialect of Elven can almost be heard.
