Janassi had been bored with the morning even though it was Festival. She was a fairly weak mage trying to gather some more spells. She spent most of her time thinking about what she would do once she was confident in her spells. Maybe one of these days she would compete in the Festival tournament.
For now though she would have to stick with healing to earn her new spells.
Light this match is dragging... Oh that's a nice spell. Ack! That's a disgusting and putrid spell to counter with!
I figured those creatures would still charge the other caster. What a strange reptile.
Wow those creatures could do a lot of harm. Bet the lizard will throw a concession any second...
Any second now...
Does he have a trick up his sleeve?
Probably that spell that blankets the area in night. Though his mana feels weak.
Surely he has a plan? Where's his concession!?
Oh crap!
She had but a second to react as she called upon the spirit of an angel working the divine power through her gem into the reptile. In that moment the creatures appeared to have pierced the reptile's chest, killing him...

Aggron braced for the impact of the charging beast. On they came, past his zombie and straight for him. Within mere moments the wolves had their jaws around his neck and chest. He could feel the agonizing pain as razor sharp fangs found their way past etherium, biting deeply into him. One of the jaws found an artery causing blood to burst out and seep from the jaw.
The world felt like a red and hazy blur, all of the energy drained from Aggrons body as he began to slouch down to the ground.
But just as he felt the last wisps of energy leave him, something new and alien surged forth. A burning, yet soothing, energy coursed out through his veins. As he looked to the sky he could feel the energy of what felt like a star trying to burst out of him.
The feeling passed within a split second. He was left drained and empty, lying on the ground, panting for breath. Light he hurt, but he was alive...

Horace watched the match intently, even though it had grown boring for himself. None the less Squee had charged him with being the Circle Master for this fight. So the honor and duty fell on Horace to watch over the match. The two were quite well matched, at least until that spirit came to the aid of the druid. There was the turning point, that and the spell empowering the druid's creatures.
Horace had a good eye for measuring threats. Hell that's why Squee made him a Circle Master. That's why Horace was expecting the concession. But none came, oddly enough. He shrugged and waited for the creatures to do their harm before being allowed to officially call the match.
Oh, I hope Janassi is paying attention. Resurrection can be a messy ordeal if she forgets the proper protection.
At that moment Horace saw the beasts pierce the reptile's chest and arteries. He felt quite sick from the blood spilling out on the Arena floor.
Resurrection then...
And at that moment a golden flare of light emanated from Aggron blinding Horace for a second.
Err. Not used to that spell. Very well Suven is the winner, Aggron loses by default for requiring outside aide...
With that Horace made his way to the center raising Suven's arm into the air declaring, "Master Suven is the winner! Aggron loses by default for requiring outside aid!"

Janassi panted as her heart attempted to break out from her chest and run away.
Light that was a close one...
I hope no one noticed, especially Squee. I'll get an earful from him again if he did.
Janassi pouted as she moved towards the Arena Master's tent.

Several healers came to Aggrons side waiting to take him to the Benalash tents for proper treatment. Many had concerned looks on their faces as they offered their arms for support...

Janassi plays:
Angelic Spirit Guide channeling the mana into a special version of Angel's Grace that can target players targeting Aggron.

Suven is awarded .5 experience for defeating a mage of equal level, to be rewarded when Suven is back in Estark. Aggron is awarded 1 experience for participating in the Festival, to be awarded when Aggron is back in Estark.
Both of you can make a transition post here before I close this thread.
Wait, what just happened? One minute I was being charged, then...
Aggron carefully ran through the events in his mind. I had just enough armor left to survive the beasts, then...oh CRAP! THAT's what happened! As the numbers ran through his head again, he saw his mistake. I should have been killed! I seriously should have been killed!
But...
He realized what happened. Somebody saved me. I've never felt that kind of energy before, but somebody used some kind of spell to save me. It must have been...w white spell? I've never even seen one before! And now a white mage saved my life.
As Aggron staggers to his feet, leaning heavily on the healers for support, he looks around, and an urgency in his mind nearly blots out the pain of his injuries. <Who did that?>
Aggron looks around, making sure he didn't just imagine projecting that thought.
He's far too weak to resist the urgings of the healers, but even still, he tries to look around, to see if anyone was in casting position. <Who did that?>
OOC: I hope you don't mind Aggron chasing this NPC around for a while, Murphy...Oh, and I'll just go to House Benalia's tents after this post. Aggron's hardly strong enough to stay in the arena at this point.
