Genesius promptly stops flipping the token upon hearing those words. "So she does exists...Great...I can't even avoid her if I don't even know what she looks like...Hopefully, her sword will be a dead giveaway..." Looking at the token, he realized he had nowhere to put it. His rope belt only had his satchel and coin pouch hanging from it and his pants were without pockets. Improvising, he deposited it in his coin pouch, feeling secure that the token was bigger than any of his coins and recognizable at the touch. "There. It's not like anyone's been able to pick my pocket yet, not without getting a lightning bolt to the back..."
He looks back up at Asher and gives him his trademark grin. "Thanks for telling me that, and for all your help. I'll be on my way to claim a room now." he says with bow. Genesius then moves to the staircase and begins his ascent.
He doesn't stop climbing until he reaches the third floor. Once there, he starts looking into each available room, passing them over until he finds what he's looking for. After spending a good amount of time searching, he finds one. One of the few rooms with a window. The room itself is simple and has basic amenities, but the freedom for Fevvers to go out and stretch her wings whenever she pleases is what's most important. The triangular window looks like it been hewn out of the rock wall itself, and it's big enough for a small child to stand in. The room even comes with a small chair, which Fevvers quickly flies over to and marks with a scratch. Afterwards, she immediately flies out the window.
Undisturbed by this, Genesius walks over to the door and closes his eyes. "Well, this place isn't exactly a mountain, but it should do." Drawing upon the red mana of the house, Genesius produces a small flame in his palm. Slowly moving his hand over the door, he singes the wood, marking the door with a large smilie face. Pleased with his handiwork, he smiles. "There. That should be distinct enough." He then extinguishes the flame in hand and looks back towards the window, noticing Fevvers has returned with a stick in her beak and seems to be busying herself over a small nest she's been building on the chair's seat.
Genesius chuckles and says "Already getting comfortable, huh? Well, we should be getting out to the city. You can finish that later, I promise." Fevvers repositions one last twig into place before flying over to Genesius shoulder. He then shuts the door behind him, looks back at the smilie face on the door, and begins his journey.
Zalara steps into the House, marveling at the size of the entry hall...the entire structure, in fact, compared to the shaman's hut back home, the roomiest building in the entire village. Despite its vastness, the stone floor feels reassuringly warm beneath her feet.
"It is said that the House of Hammerheim trains the finest red mages the world over!" she calls out. "Who do I need to speak with to request an invitation into your House?"
Zalara matches the woman with her own steely glare. "For six years, I have faithfully served my village as a shaman, defending it from beasts and brigands, and communing with the spirits of the land, the sky, and the fire to bring the village into harmony with them. If you require a demonstration of my skills, you need only describe the ritual of initiation."
The woman could not have been much older than Zalara herself. "And what of you, warrior? What deeds of honor did you perform to gain entry to this House?"
She says as she pulls out a coin with a stylized ball of flame on it and tosses it to the woman.
That is a symbol that you have accepted into this House. Don't loose it, you won't like us if you loose it. There are rooms on the second floor, find one and takes it as your own. As for my deeds lets just say that I have killed many with my blades to make sure that Hammerheim's Banner yet waves, that is all that you need to to know.
Zalara tucks the medallion safely into a fold of her robe and heads up the stairs.
After settling in at her new room, she returns to the hall and examines the notice board. Seeing no outstanding commissions, she heads back to the market.

You seek to join us? What makes you even think that you are worthy enough?

I like you. You've got spunk.
