Thank you very much Eavath quickly walked down the hall to the right and found an unmarked door. He opened and glanced it. It seemed nice enough and wasn't too bright. He quickly closed it and marked a small but noticeable E onto the door with a claw.
He turned and walked back down the hall, nodding to the mage that had helped him and the other one asking questions. He reached the door and stepped out, not giving either a chance to react to his acknowledgement.
Well met Shado. So, you wish to join us? Then you'll be needing this.
Augus says as he reaches into one of his desk drawers and pulls out a coin stamped with symbol of the Lat-Nam Wizards. He holds it up for a moment for Shado to get a good look at it.
This coin is a sign of your membership to the House of the Wizards. Do not loose it.
Augus hands Shado the coin.
Now, for your room. If you just take the stairs that are on the right of this hallway up to the second floor you will find yourself in the living quarter of the House. Please find an empty and unmarked room and make it yours. Any questions of me before you go?
Shado inclines his head, takes the coin into his pocket, and heads upstairs. Finding an empty room, he enters. He places a few possessions inside the drawers there. On the door, he marks his name and puts a simple spell-lock on the knob.
Augus responds. He reaches into one of the desk drawers and pulls out a coin with the symbol of Lat-Nam on it. Heholds it at eye level for a moment so that Tarqui can see it and then hands it to him.
This is a sign that you are now a member of this House. Do not loose it, you will not be getting another one if you do. For a room, if you just head up the stair that is just down the hall on the right, you will find rooms on the second floor. Find one that is empty and make it yours. Any questions of me before you go?
"A pleasure to meet a fellow scholar, Thelas. To answer your earlier question, yes. Admittance to our House is always free and open to those who study our arts. Use common sense when dealing with other house members. Save fights and disputes for the arena. Feel free to look around but remember to lay claim to a room. Take this coin as a mark of your membership as well. Do not lose it as you will not be given another. Any questions?" asked Augus as he produced a Coin of Lat-Nam for Thelas.
"At this time I do not know of any open contracts for mages. Perhaps you should look around the city and ask around? You might get lucky and find some employment."
That is what I will do, then. Thank you very much for admitting me to the House - I trust that we will see each other often, and I hope to be an asset to the house.
Thelas bows respectfully to Augus, tucks the Coin into his satchel, enters the House to look for a room to make his own, and after finding one, assuming no problems occur, heads off to look around the city.
((OOC: Going to wait to do anything else for confirmation nothing explodes or anything.))
Thelas is fortunate enough to find an unclaimed room that does not explode upon his claiming of the room. He can take comfort in this house not having tricks like those found in the red houses....
Soru while wandering through the city, found himself in front of the House of the Lat-Nam Wizards. At last... he thought to himself, while entering. As he walks in, he announces himself I, Soru Waden, of the Mahotsukai clan wish to pledge my allegiance to the house of Lat-Nam.
Well met Soru. My name is Augus. Joining us is as simple as asking; all that you need now is this to show that you are now a member.
Augus said as he pulled out Coin of Lat-Nam for Soru.
Please keep it safe as you will not be given another one. Now for a room. If you just take the stairs that are on the right of this hallway up to the second floor you will find yourself in the living quarter of the House. Please find an empty and unmarked room and make it yours.
Soru went up the stairs to the living quarters. He found a room that seemed empty, with a window overlooking the city. He used an incantation to put a glowing mark on his door, a white lotus engulfed in blue flames, the Mahotsukai clan kamon. He then exited the House and started exploring once more.
Xirask's heavy footsteps echoed throughout the empty hallway. As soon as he entered the city, he sensed the abundant presence of Aum-Othlis, or blue mana lines, and followed them to this structure. The Surrakar suspects it won't take long for someone to notice him and his loud footfalls, so he bides his time inspecting the portraitsdecoratingthewalls...
Sada gripped his left forearm tightly, it burned with an intensity he had yet to feel, tears streamed down his face, he could not restrain himself from yelling anymore, his gaze widened and he took in the city. The surrounding people were getting concerned, whispering among each other, there voices echoing in his mind; he began to run at a full sprint he caught sight of a structure made of perfectly cut geometric shapes of varying types, he burst the doors open and let out a primal howl.

If you strike me down now I will become more powerful than you can possibly imagine- Mimic Vat.
Startled by a howling man that burst through the door, Xirask instinctually draws mana from a nearby fountain, but quickly realizes the newcomer is no threat. Unsure of how to proceed, he inspects Sada, and having determined the source of his screaming to be pain, tries to soothe him with a local drowse spell. The screaming stops, but the man is still panting heavily, so Xirask decides to leave for now and familiarize himself with the city. Whoever is in charge here will probably feel a limited amount of hospitality after that din...
