Barrin sniffs. "Very well." He reaches into the sleeve of his robes and withdraws a coin that shimmers with a bluish tint. "This is your token of membership. Do not lose it, for if you do, you shall be forced to pay for another, and worse- we do not respect those without the ability to care for such a simple thing. You may wander the halls until you find a room with no name on the door. Mark it with your sign and it shall be yours. The libraries are open to members at any time."
ooc: And don't forget to update your Active Characters profile with your House membership.

Aramil nodded, and stored the coin in a safe place. He wandered the halls for almost an hour at a leisurely pace before finding an empty room and marking it as his own.
Afterward, he headed out of the House in search of a vendor to purchase a few new spells.

Len guessed the voice was magically amplified, or projected. It seemed to come from everywhere, but that was probably the hall's echo at work. For all he knew, its source could be right behind him.
"My name is Len Guran," he said to the room, hearing his name repeated back to him over and over. "I wish to join this house."
"Tell me why, Len Guran; tell me why you think you should become a member of the House of Knowledge." The voice seems to come from the wall at a point directly behind and to the right of Len. There is no one there, though... no one visible, anyway.

Looking around the hall, Len says "I have the intelligence to understand what I know, and the wisdom to recognize what I don't." Addressing the next comment to the apparent source of the voice, "I would also like the opportunity to learn the latter."
"Your willingness to admit that you do not know everything shall serve you well."
A human woman in bluish robes appears from nowhere.
"This is yours, so that you might find that which you seek within the walls. Do not lose it, for it is difficult to replace...and one cannot replace what is lost, really; you might only hold to a fascimile of what you once held." She holds out a shining azure coin.

"Thank you very much," Len says with a grateful nod. "I'll go find myself a room."
Len picks a direction in the hall on the third floor, and walks down it. After a few moments, he comes back, says "Okay, library that way, rooms this way," and walks the opposite way.
EDIT: Now that I have time to flesh out what he does...
Len wandered the corridor, noting marks on each door. He noted one strange mark: a simple outline of a square. Slightly further down the hall, he found one that was not marked, and put his own on it. As he touched the doorknob, he felt a slight tingle on his hand. There was a magical lock on it.
After examining his room, and finding his room very acceptable, he pulled out the handkerchief with the pieces of the device from his satchel, and put in on his desk.
He then picked up his satchel, and made his way out of the building, being careful to note where he was going. He knew that wizards were notorious for buildings with odd laws of physics and reality. He pulled his hood up, and went out into the streets.
After take the reward for killing those Phyrexians, Rovei walks to the exit with Niadar
"Well Niadar I have to say that i'm glad to meet you, this quest wouldn't be the same without you as my peer
Now we have to take our own ways, but don't forget that we have to have that friendly arena fight
But first we will go to buy some stuff I think, when I finish I'll came back here to rest a little, and then I'll go to meet you there"
Rovei walks outside the building
EDIT:
OOC: Me and Niadar just finished a Quest, and we were told to keep posting in tht thread until we receive the reward, then as we must leave the building to don't be penalized I'm posting here, I hope is ok

Why should i be bound by rules when I can see so far beyond them?
Yay!!! Mirrodin is back!!! it will be a great year

Niadar grins at his friend's comment. "Right back at you, Rovei. It's been fun working with you--and I'll see you in a little while for that fight." I'm looking forward to it." With that, he headed out of the building and into Estark proper, in search of the market.
Hey, is there anyone else on the forums going to Rice University in Houston? We could ALWAYS use more people in our Magic games. PM me if you want to play sometime
After some steps Rovei thinks that its better to rest first and then with a more clear thoughts buy the gems, then returns to Lat-Nam Wizards' House and go to his room to take a much needed rest and almost immediatly he falls into a very deep uncounciosness and have some nightmares about Radiant and the Masked Man
EDIT: OOC: I'm editing for not double post
IC: After take some rest and be full recovered, Rovei leaves the House and takes the way to Lyre's Bazaar
1. Players please note that my quests take time. If you do not want to take the time to complete them do not respond.
2. I will [at minimum] check/post up on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
3. Players who go a week without posting or PMing me will have their character killed, no ifs ands or buts.

Then, there are excellent, cinematic descriptions. If the player describes something and makes me go "wow" or something similar, I will grant additional .5-1.5 experience per occurrence.
Phyrexian Assault on [Benalia and Llanowar]
I am requesting the aid of 8 Mages to help defend Benalia and Llanowar against Phyrexian Forces. Gix and Radiant have coordinated an attack on these two nations. The warriors of Benalia and Llanowar have been broken and there is fighting on two fronts in both nations. The Mages will be split into teams of two to head to each of the fronts.
Each team will need to find, hold and defeat the Phyrexian Shock troops and the Mage that leads them. Once again each kill will grant you 10 Gold and there is no level requirement; however both teams heading to one place need to be filled before either will be sent.
Rovei gets back to take some rest, but in the main door he sees the announcement he was afraid to see
Radiant is taking vengance for the attack himself (Rovei) and Niadar did some time ago...
Rovei feels bad about, then decides to take part on this new mission and see if this time he can stop Radiant forces
EDIT: "But first i need some rest"
Then he takes the way to his room and go to bed immediatly, he dreams about his fight against Radiant, but iin his dream Niadar and he beat her easly
OOC: I asked you something in a PM Qfx, depending on your answer I'll leave things like they are or edit.
while that I can do someother stuff right?
Hopefully I'll get a partner like Niadar that post every day
EDIT2: Ok i just saw your answer, then I'll not join yet
EDIT3:
OOC: I'm editing my psot to avoid double posting
IC: Suddenly the dream turned into a nightmare, after defeating easly Radiant and while Niadar and he was taking her to Estark, Radiant awakes, and is now an easy fight for her? him?.
Then Niadar and Rovei are tortured to death...
Then Rovei awakes, is the morning and now he is so nervous about facing Radiant again
"I think that I need to improve my skills first, I'll better go and take a walk around the city"
Then Rovei takes a fast breakfast and leaves the building
Ti'rin enters House Lat-Nam and calls out, "Hello? I would like to speak to someone in a position of authority."
All of a sudden, a blue ball manifests in mid-air. "And what can House Lat-Nam do for a member of House Shanodia?"
"I've got two packages here, one each for two of your members. One goes to Viridius, the other to Rovei."
"Are they harmful?"
"No, they are quite beneficial."
"Hmf. Very well. I'll hold onto them until they get back."
"Thank you." Ti'rin turns and exits the House.

At the time, I had no answer, but it just came to me.
Do we put the word "the" in front of God?

Everything I say is fully substantiated by my own opinion.
Devlin cartwheels into House Lat-Nam, coming to rest on his feet about a yard into the entryway. He looks around for someone who looks in charge or looks extremely knowledgeable.
Frustrated with Devlin's courtesy, the cleaver shouts out, "Hey! Anyone here have the brains to decipher a riddle?"

The God of the Old Testament is arguably the most unpleasant character in all fiction: jealous and proud of it; a petty, unjust, unforgiving, control-freak; a vindictive, bloodthirsty ethnic cleanser; a misogynistic, homophobic, racist, infanticidal, genocidal, filicidal, pestilential, megalomaniacal, sado-masochistic, capriciously malevolent bully.
A small blue wisp appears and answers the cleavers call.
Voice: Half a brain well we do have people with those but I don't believe that they would be able to answer any riddles. You will need at least .50000000000000000001% of a brain for that. Now what is it Warlock that requires our answer.
"Igor sent me. I am looking for a place where the sun sets across the silver sea."
